These boards are for people to post their opinions on topics relating to DAoC and I have not contravened these regulations. If I want to post a flame I damn well will.

I'm just wondering where the fuck all you peace and love hippies came from. Anytime there is any disagreement here in BW ( or in the game ) you start with all the "let's get along" bollocks.

Confrontation and strife are a natural part of everyday life and there's no reason that should not be reflected in a game that mirrors the social interactions of real life. I called Najwa a wanker and he called me a prick. Some agreed with me and some agreed with him. The rest of the posts are just binary fluff.

Cut your damn hair and get a job and stop all this weed-induced bleeting everytime someone raises their proverbial voice.

Rasputin will you please just take a minute to relax and think of what you are writing? You are flaming people who have considered you a friend!

Confrontation and strife IS a natural part of everyday life, but if they are not settled peacefully, they become damageing to both parts.

Now, please, take a deep breath and try to settle this in-game where you dont have the entire server as audience.

I think you hit the nail on the head there Turamber. I did come on to post a flame. It was an honest statement that I think Najwa is an arsehole from his attitude. I know, you know and the rest of Albion know that Najwa is a fool of a tool.

And Sardon I'll forgive that your first language isn't English but you need to understand the sentiment behind a statement and not just the actual words. "When I want your opinion I'll give you it" is a colloquialism for "I don't really give a toss what you say". So in essence I was not saying you have no right to express an opinion only that I was not interested in it.

An finally to address Najwa himself. Little man, you have not the wit nor verbal dexterity to match me in a duel of words. Merely shouting "blah blah fucking blah, useless prick ..." is not exactly the height of wit. But then anyone who's listened to the shite you spam at the CS portal pad will understand that anyway.

Personally, I probably wouldn't choose to flame him on BW, but it is up to individuals to choose. Don't like flame threads, don't read them.

No Jup, I haven't heard about that. If you wish to enligthen me, send me a PM. But I do know quite well some of the things Najwa has done - or has been accused of doing. I also know that Najwa gets more public flames (or call it "expressed opinions" if you wish) than any other player, and that anyone rarely takes his side. I'm sure he can be an asshole - we all can be. It's the bloody onesidedness of it that's making me pissed off. Najwa does have good sides, I know he do. As I said before, he's never been anything but kind and pleasant towards me. Noone deserves the kind of abuse that Najwa has been recieving here.

But I guess I'm just a peaceloving hippie.

As for the glad about leaving PL. <shrugs> I was a bit angry when I wrote that, and no I don't think any guild should censor their members. However, I would personally find it very hard to stay in a guild where one of the officers makes posts like Rasputin's on a public forum. Still, not saying that anyone should be censored, it's just my personal opinion. I still have the uttermost respect for the Legion as a whole. It's just my opinion of some of it's members that's getting tarnished.
