he has no penis I gues and takes it out here because he has no street cred IRL

300 bhp through 2 wheels is just plain stupid, look at the toyota supra 3ltr twin turbo, rear wheel drive and completely uncontroloable .

And I'm sorry to any one else but the Fiat Cinquecento Sporting by far the most gay car I have ever seen, u gotta be cack handed to fit in it ffs

Formula 1 car. 800bhp through rear wheels. Seem perfectly controllable to me. You admitting you lack driving skills again Moon?

frankie,

Joking aside - if you are going to get alloys, save up for a decent set. Buying a set of Halfords-a-like Fox style alloys and wrapping them in no-brand rubber will be great in the short term, but will look to all intents and purposes to everyone else like very cheap alloys, which of course they are.

I've lost count of the number of shite cars I've seen around with budget Rent-a-alloy wheels on. I would have more respect for the driver if he/she had waited a little longer and bought a decent set. Having cheap (and obviously cheap to everyone else) alloys defeats the object of having them in the first place.

And please don't mod an M3. The only mod that should ever be carried out on an M3 is maybe getting alloys for it, but even then that's not a great idea because it cheapens the look of the car. Genuine unmarked BMW M3 alloys are gorgeous.

M3 is perfect the way it is....doing all that tacky stuff normally makes the end result worse than the original...same as people who add/change parts on motorbikes.

bodhi and exor, and co can just fuck off

you dont own any decent cars, so why dont you shut it?

all ya seem to know is from what you read in "lamers weekly"

trying to win arguments by quoteing stuff off the net... how sad

Btw, my beemer is a clean, fast 318, and its not old, 10 years old isnt too old...

and i mod things because its a hobbie, and no, im not a boy racer, if i do somming, i do it 100%, not like mr. average novaman where he sticks some sunstrips on, backbox, airfilter and some big alloys, and trys to race everything. if i do somming, i do it properly. just driving ones car can become fairly boring, working on it to make it better is fun... but then again, youll never know that pleasure as you cant stand getting ya hands dirty.

also, about the rear wheel drive thing...

It all comes down to suspension, tire width and the all important "power curve"

a turbo'd car has a power curve as bent as U-bend

whereas a normally asperated engine will have a flatter power curve, and thus controlable power.

This includes being stupid enough to put a 3.2 V12 in his 318i....if he can

And wieght or wieght distribution of the car, the M3 is to light for 300Bhp at the back and a little to easy to let go, nice car don't get me wrong but not a racing car, given the choice I'd have the slower much older shape M3, only left hand drive but a purpose built racing machine :D

Well, the fact that he admitted it on a Quake 2 thread kinda gave it away for me.

And what precisely does the car I drive have to do with how good a driver I am? Jean Alesi, arguably one of the most skillful drivers in F1 today, drives about in a 1960's Fiat 500.

Get back on the sunshine bus Moon. You might look less silly then.

Only to a certain extent.

You can light up the tyres in any car if you rev it hard enough and drop the clutch in 1st. Once most cars get going (unless they are supercars) - turbo'd or naturally aspirated - they generally all accelerate the same way. The only thing to be wary of with powerful cars is torque steer (FWD) and power slides (RWD) - but then that just comes down to driving ability.

No it goes from being a good car to a total shit one. M3 is a good because of the way it is.
This sums up the argument beautifully.

The M3 is already a sporty looking prestige car. It was designed to be sporty and yet retain the elegance and grace that all BMWs have. Modifying a car like this is sacrilegious and only serves to ruin its image. If you want a BMW to look like every other Joe's car (like mine), modify it - if you want it to retain a level of class that has always placed it above "normal cars" - leave it as it is.

Do you even need a driving license to drive a Cinquecento Bodhi?.. or can you just drive one if you put a helmet on?

No you need a licence, but they dont let you on motorways with it. Under 50cc you see. Makes a handy weapon for burning off milk-floats tho.

P.S Moon, the above is known as sarcasm. Just thought I would let you know.

Err, lol? You're like........... 19 aren't you? So frankie is a year younger and deffo has the attitude of an older person, unlike yours of a 10 year old mummies boy. And whats so special about a fucking MGF hair dryer??? Methinks you're the one who needs to rethink what the fuck you're going on about :)

Anyways he was on about the E30 M3, they only had about 220 brake.. not much is it.
