It HAS been left alone. It's the limited edition one they did with a 6 speed gearbox and a push button starter. And I still want one.

I was never a Fiat lover... well... The X1/9 was pretty sweet back in the day.

Lotus, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, and DeTomaso are all namplates that I love.

Especially Lotus. The Esprit r001s j00.

Just got off the phone with Swinton (Sabre) after asking them what the insurance premium hike would be if I were to get a Calibra 2.0 16v Turbo engine transplant in my current Astra 2.0 8v.

To my complete surprise I was told that - assuming it was professionally installed and the insurance company was provided with an engineers report detailing the work done (standard practice) then my insurance premium would go up by a colossal..

should go pretty quick, but m8, 2l 16v is more than enough, ya likely to go slower with the turbo because of loss of traction

just whack throttle bodies on the 2 litre, and then itll be controllable power, and nuff of it
