What's your insurance like on that GTi-R?.. and how old are you? NCB, etc?
Sounds familiarI have my girlfriend as the main driver on the insurance and I've managed after some hard work to get it down to some where around 900 pound where as if I were the main driver the first quote I got was 3k.
He does, and he's shite at parking it. Always has it half-up on the pavement or whatever.Originally posted by Embattle

Oh yeh and the skyline GTR makes the bmw M series look like a ford capri
Any way I'm sure Nissan will have to follow up the R34 with something beasty, will have to to keep up the the new Mitsabishi Lancer evo 7 ( any one got a pic cos it looks damn sexy ? )
You do realise that dropping such an engine into a 318i would turn your insurance quotes into Lottery-esque figures. Quotes for actual vehicles with 3.2 V12 engines are substantially less (£1000's) than vehicles with 3.2 V12 transplants.though the holy grail is dropping in the BMW 3.2 litre v12 engine... 300 + bhp ?

I would also speculate that the 3.2 V12 lump would probably be too heavy for the 318i bay, although I might be wrong.
