A few years back I bought a Netgear MP101. I got it from eBay for about £40. Despite what you may read around the internet it worked very well for me, hooked up to my stereo.

Last year I bought a Pinnacle Soundbridge Homemusic, it was about £45 and is upstairs attached to the stereo in our bedroom. it is brilliant and also connects to 1000's of internet radio stations as well as streaming my music faultlessly.

Yesterday the MP101 sadly died so I started looking for a replacement.

The Soundbridge is no longer made and whilst MP101's are still available on eBay the technology is pretty old now to buy again. There just seems to be no cheap alternative. The Squeezebox v3 and Duet look best but are lots of money.

Does anyone know of a sensible alternative for less than £50?

Cheers
