I can't stress the fact that mumford and sons are the best band of 2010 IMO! Absolutly fan-fucking-tastic. Every song they do gets better and better.

Have a listen.

awesome, aren't they. I've seen them several times now and they go from strength to strength imo! I especially enjoy that Marcus reacts emotionally to the crowd; for example at the last Haldern Pop festival, the crowd started singing a song before they'd begun playing and he broke off talking and had to swallow a lump in his throat before they could start the song. that kind of stuff just connects me to the artist immediately...very powerful and sympathetic energy.

also, you may want to check out a band called Villagers if you like Mumford, Laddey. just google or youtube for "Becoming a Jackal". Not as folksy but still very nice stuff and you may like it. (I think I actually mentioned this before btw).

I love Mumford and Sons, I always have, once I started to listen to them, pratically everyone was giving me raised eyebrows because of they're 'folk' music, but they really have a 21st century twist to it with use of lyrics and making fantastic sounds with their instruments...

But the funny thing is, I listened to these way before they hit the charts and got as big as they are now, back then, everyone was giving raised eyebrows about them, but now they're popular, everyones suggesting me to listen to them! That really fucks me off!!!

Too true mate, the Emo tag is dying out, and more and more people are listening to mainstream emotional music, - Look at Mumford and Sons, they're on radio 1 - that explains it all really, if it's on Radio 1, it's acceptable to listen to.
