Didnt the Mid alliance take the the hib relic keep 3rd door down to 50% in prime time yesterday? oh yeah we did didnt we so thats to you for saying we dont raid prime time and tbh we came alot closer to pulling it off then you did, that ok with you?
I think tbh you need to know what happened tonight from someone who cross organised this, we basicly ported over from emain to have abit of a laugh and gank a few Albs and do a few keeps nothing more.
After an hour or so we noticed the hibbys had popped a few keeps and frankly you guys as usual could'nt stop fanning around to Emain to cap them back, so Splasher said why not do a relic raid seeing as the Albs dont give a flying, i thought it was a good idea so started gathering some people sorting the rams in beno and generally getting it under way at this time i didnt even look at my clock so i didnt know the time (So flame away at me for "being lame")
It eventually got sorted and we started moving, we got to the ridge near Excal and it was about 1:30 am then after everyone had ported and waited for the merchant to pop (Took about an hour due to the merchant being a nob and some people being slow porting over) we get reports of Albs in Excal so we wait then eddila (Sorry if i misspelt your name) stealths infront of Excal doors and doesnt move so we wait some more, she goes LD so we move.
We get spotted as soon as we move i belive by a wizzy so we got pretty unlucky and only managed the 2nd door to around 5% before controlling the Albs on the walls and managing the guard pop's got untenable.
So there you go an off the cuff Alliance Relic Raid, as always i'm quite happy to claim responsibility for the raid failing but it was always going to be on a knife edge anyway so please any flames that you want to make direct them at me and not at the people who came to help strengthen the realm again.
I'm sorry for Midgard getting abit of its fight back in it and i'm sorry that we bashed yours and the Hibbys relic doors down and cap most of your keeps most nights of the week.
So sorry from me Albions and i really feel your pain at having to spend all that cash on putting your doors back, if you see me in odins be sure to wave and i'll see if i can spare you a few coins to help out your realm ok?
Also taking flaming from Wildfire i can manage seeing that i know how much he does for your realm but some of you others who just jumped on for an excuse of a quick flame should think "What have i ever done to give me right to judge on other peoples work"

personally i dont realyl give a shit what time and when relics are taken its a 24 hour game . and it doesnt stop just because mjority of people are in bed. some see it as acceptable some dont ...
but end of the day if mids/albs/hibs wanna raid at early hours of the morning . if they can muster a force big enough then so be it ..
only hing that annoys me is when realms take a relic late night and theh egt flamed and toasted to fuck for it by the other 2 realms ., then a while after they do it themselves and go raid late ... ALbs have done late night raids , mids have done late night raids , and so have the hibs .... so i suggest you all quit whining all realms... if your in bed that doesnt mean that the people still online are not allowed to have fun and organise raids just because its not prime time .
sure its more of a challenge and you'd prolly get more respect from the other realms but as said above its a 24hr game . it doesnt stick a "closed" sign on the door ,,, so quit whinging form a large army yourself and take them back ,.

Honestly guys I couldn't care less if you take the relic back again from us late at night, early in the morning, or during one of your numerous tea times.
Please do so and give us a chance to get on yet another raid. We got to keep those relics moving.

about this thing, 'it's a 24/7 game'... sure it is.. and you pay your sub fees just as i do
it's also an MMORPG.. (if you enjoy the PvE aspect that much, I'm sure the PvE server will be more to your liking..) the fact is, the population on excal at night falls down to around 150 people, on all three realms..
it comes down to, whether or not you want to piss off the other 1800 or so regulars on the server by not giving them the chance to be involved in such a raid...
sure, it makes the chance for success all the much higher executing it at such hours, but then.. really, if you feel you have achieved something, that you have overcome a challenge of some sort... more power to ya

In fact it seems you have fallen FAR lower.... have just logged on to find that mids made further lame early morning relic raids, this time on hib and were successful.
Midguard was once the superpower of Exacalibur,
Then the the other realms caught up and there was parity.
Then the rot set in, and the Fall of the Midguard Empire began its steady decent to terminal velocity.
Now Midguard is the "Third World" Realm of Excalibur, viewed recently perhaps by hibs and albs with some sympathy, but now with disdain.
Middies are now just walking rps who seem proud of their greatest achievements - pathetic early morning relic raids...
As much as i loathe Hibernians, they have my respect as players with skill and honour.
Hibs, go twat the mids and take their relics back, do it primetime, and rub their nooby noses in it!
Oh for the days of kIllgorde and other talented and honourable Middies

Well i do agree, I hope we can do primetime raids now and some of the others alliances get back to Excal to help a bit. It was a smallish alliance pulling of this raid, so thats prob. why peeps feel they acheived something (however small the acheivement may seem).
Though I allso agree a primetime raid would be so much more fullfilling hope I can attend one soon with alot of peeps involved both albs/hibs and mids.
And I hope we dont have to do morning raids again to get relics back, but if the situation doesn't change and mids still don't wanna be part of large primetime relicraids, then It'll prolly happen again :\

Interesting Strondor, well it seems good if there is such a truce that u only should take relics in "prime time" Then I just wonder, what is prime time for u? Las time the albs took our relic i recall it beeing around 1 o'clock in the morning, wouldn't call that primetime more than 7 o'clock in the morning a weekend when in fact the vast majority would be able to be there if they wanted? And in fact this time is not much before when u have to get ni to level if u want to play in Malmohus in Midgard.
So yeah, it's definetly a larger accomplishment to take the relic at primetime, and a thing that I very much would like to experience. Even though my computer probably won't allow me since the framerate is down to one frame every other second or so in those battles. Also that would be more interesting if there were not that many spies from albion needing double accounts to be able to gather 100 or so in relickeep before we have even left midgard That though is irrelevant.
Just another thing Strandor, or rather 2... why haven't we seen any frequent relicattacks from u primetime against the hib relics. The albs and hibs have had 3 relics each for a rather long time now and the attempts reported in this time have been very few
