How anyone can have a go at the ancient spartans amazes me lol. Back then there was no such thing as gay or straight it was all normal to them. Life was very very hard and crippled weak babies wouldnt have survived long anyway and would probally just make life harder for the rest of the spartans. In that day and age you couldnt afford any sort of hinderance if u wanted to survive. The thing is you can look back to any countrys ancient history and find cruel/barbaric things and even probally a lot of what we would call gay. The only differance is tho like people said atleast the greeks where able to fight off massive armys back then, a big majority of the rest of europe where still pretty much cave men. And im pretty sure as cave men we didnt have any rules on gay/straight and im 100% sure we would have killed babies and children.
