Mercy Saracen Question

im planning to make a Mercenary. And i just wonder if it is any Saracen Mercenarys out there that could plz tell me if you like your Saracen Mercenary? Im planning to make one.

I would say they are very good,you either go highlander slash or sara thrust imo,sara mercs can hurt mids an awful lot,hope you try one and if you do speak to sousi.Have fun with it,i am.

How should i lay my Starting points in Str Con Dex and Quick?Im thinkig of 10 Str 10 Con 10 Quick i think it might me worth the quick i mean i think 80 dex is good enough. Well plz tell me if this is any good?

Well i did that seems fine for highlander,your choice mate i would go str dex and quick for a sara,upto you though.

Dont we need the Con? i mean 50 in con is quite low m8. But maybe it is worth to lay 10 str 10 dex and 10 quick i mean you hit very hard and fast but you good quite low con . Maybe i could fix up the Con with some items . i just think that 50 is quite low, should need atleast 60. But as you sad i could always need some Dex and Quick too .

Highlander:

70 str + 45 + 125 + 75 = 315
70 con + 15 + 125 + 75 = 285 + 10 = 295 + Aug Con 1 = 301 con
50 dex + 30 + 125 + 75 = 280 + 10 = 290 + Aug Dex 2 for RA's = 302 dex

Briton:

60 str + 45 + 125 + 75 = 305
60 con + 15 + 125 + 75 = 275 + 10 = 285 + either more con/ aug con
60 dex + 30 + 125 + 75 = 290 + Aug Dex 2 for RA's = 302 dex

Saracen:

50 str + 45 + 125 + 75 = 295 + 5 = 300
50 con + 15 + 125 + 75 = 265 + 10 = 275 + either more con/ aug con
80 dex + 30 + 125 + 75 = 310

Spare points can be dumped in quickness or the lowest stat, calculate aug xxx stat costs to see which is best race, this is also assuming best buffs.

So a stat like dex or str over 300 might be ok if you dont have best buffs or get debuffed.

actually it's better to put 10 in con due to thrust being 1/2 str 1/2 dex based, so you'll only lose very few weaponskill points

There is another option of course, go for a briton, they are the ideal class to go either slash, thrust or crush on as they are balanced, if you go slash/crush put your adds as +10 con +10 strength and +5 quick and dex, if you ware a thrust one put more into dex and less into strength.

I have a level 50 briton crush merc and I find this really good as the only classes I get minuses to when I RvR are some Hib tanks.

Highlanders I find too slow and Saracens have too few HPs. At the end of the day the choice is yours though but don't listen to Mattshanes

Well my brother have a briton Mercenary so i want to make a highlander or a saracen, and im gonna chose Saracen. So therefore i wanna now where to lay my points. And Naetha i have test my brother Mercenary some times and he rocks i love him alot, but i wanna test a Saracen and see how they are.

Erm i liked to see you call me and ken slow,that's not true at all,who kills the most? besides highlander if you want pure high hits slower and more hp... Briton is worst race for merc imo.... even though they are ok but not as good as other 2.

Maybe try an inconnu one whatever they called?and go thrust with that sounds interesting...

Briton you will not get as much use of slash like a highlander and same as thrust which a sara does.

Str, Con, Dex are the most important stats for any fighter class if you ask me. Apart from that, I wouldn't hurt my brain too much about it, since in the end your stats will be boosted to oblivion by items and buffs anyway.

I back Hendrick on this, with a level 50 character you'll see no difference due to your race because of items and buffs capping your stats anyway.

Do not compare a merc with an inf please they are different, anyway saracens aren't weak i assure you mids will tell you that, having fun with mine anyway just a shame albs do not realise what they are capable of just like friars.Having pain 3,det lv4 and dodger 3 at rr7 soon will be great fun

Good thing with highlander you have high hp and weaponskill(mine's 1407 unbuffed) which means target's can't parry you as often and you are very very accurate,also been told it effects damage variance.
