Demo for the new expansion has hit all the usual sites! I'll be getting it as my favourite race the Tau are in it! Wonder how they will translate from the tabletop game...

How good are you at RTSs in general?

I've had this game since release but never got round to playing it (I really only enjoy mp games and I didn't know anyone who played DoW)

I might play though if we get a regular game or 3 going.

Hi Ya'll

I'm currently in Botswana in southern africa!!

I just had to post as this thread nearly convinced me to buy DOW before I left. However I decided I'll leave it until I get back and see if I still want it.
In Botswana I visited a local store with a friend (its called game, but is a big ass supermarket type thing) and saw DOW + WA for 30 pula, which translates to 3 quid!! They price checked it and said it wasn't a mistake, so on monday I fly back to UK with the whole caboodle for 3 squid! Nice!

I'm well up for any DOW nights being organised, sounds like an awesome plan, let me know when people are planning them and I'll come along.

(nb, I only played the beta and so am likley to be shit for atleast a few days )
