apparently the shitty protection doesnt like my particular DVD-RW.

managed to patch to 1.50 externally which removes the shitty protection.

effectively an official no cd.

drop in 3 possed squads and a couple chaos squads and the enemies base will be uber fucked

Aye - only real stalemates will ever get to tier 3 in 1v1.

SM t3 is better than choas tho. AT + drops + orbital bombardment. And LR > BT.

im off on holiday on monday so erm, might not be able to play for 2-3 weeks. gonna order WA before i go though, although its out of stock now i should hopefully get it by the time im back home.

I now have DOW. Wow, but it eats time I kid you not! I'm on the SP mission 6 atm, and the game is teaching me to be more agressive than I usually am. I'm more of a builder person, where I hang back and amass huge forces, but now I have to move quickly and destroy the bloody Eldar's teleport gates or they just keep coming and coming and coming :/

At a certain point it reminded me of that scene in Aliens where the marines position the two sentry guns in a corridor and the aliens rush them and get blown to mush... well, I did that to the Eldar until the thought came to me that it may be a good idea to send some scouts in to find out where the buggers were coming from

Strangely I don't hae Civ IV yet, even though I ordered it from the same company at the same time I ordered DOW/Gold ed. I did know they would send them separately, but it's wierd to get one on friday and not have the other yet
