If this is the work of Al-whatsit then things in the UK are going to change

I thought you were taking the piss. Then I got to the last line, and discovered that you are a cock.

I despair sometimes.

"illegal aslyum seekers" the ones who come apply then disapear, migrant workers etc i have no qualms about in fact we need them. Its the ones who come over and then take advantage of the system, with so many people in the country that the goverment has no knowledge of its bound to be a security risk.

please please please do a little, just a google or two, or maybe a book but please do the smallest bit of information hunting before taking on the role of Security Council. Your post is just a bunch of fearful words strung together.

Speculation is now bouncing back to this being two separate incidents; a power surge problem on the Tube at around 8:50 and a Bus Bomb at around 10:15.

If the Tube did get a power surge then most injuries and damages would come from trains stopping abruptly.

Emergency services would not be taking any chances though ...

'tis bad news, but really I must be slightly innured to this kind of thing, I remember lots of bombs that the IRA set off, particularly the one in Manchester.

Someone on another forum 'has a mate who works for British Rail' and has said something is kicking off in Manchester. I hope not.

Whats really sad about this, and I hate to use such a terrible event as propoganda, is that the government will use such things as a perfect excuse to get ID cards and more security controls firmly on the agenda.

Because ID cards worked so well preventing the Madrid attacks. Then again, when has fact got in the way of uk.gov policy?

The mobile networks have been restricted in london according to another forum, a member on there lives somewhere near one of the stations.... no calls in or out, so I suspect thats why you can't get in touch with him tankgirl

I know what you mean. I've lived in belfast all my life and grown up with bombs and shootings every other day of the week from the IRA/UVF and every other 3 letter organisation we have over here, but it still doesnt make the impact of these things any softer for me.
Maybe i'm just too much of a peace and love hippy but I still cant watch 9/11 footage without crying. Its horrible when things like this happen in any country.
My brother moved away to london to join the police because he didnt want to be in the middle of the troubles over here :(

Wow! Nice jump! Straight to the "conclusion" square, soaring right over "facts" and "information" squares. It's almost like you work in the media.

All the phone networks in the areas affected are tied up at the moment, everyone if phoning to see if their friends/relatives are ok. It should calm down later.

Standard emergency services stuff, I gather. In a situation like this the network operators switch available resources over to emergency services communications so the average joe mobile users network is clogged.

Mystic stop your trolling. This has been stated by the Police and many experts on the TV, and who the fuck else do you think did it.

Number 10 said it was "still unsure" whether the explosions were a terrorist attack and although casualties were reported, no further details were yet available.

Not a single report blaming Al Q, afaik. And it would just be speculation at this point.

Not a single report no. Just the main story on the BBC news site.

And I think they know more than you.
