6v6 is cool for all the maps, 7v7 is alright for a couple but 8v8 is just going over the top. Having made friends and talked to most of the other decent uk clans, I think they all prefer 6v6 or 7v7.

If people just start un-needed shite like this, admins won't even bother reading it, so don't see why people did, guess there was different reasons to flaming me?

Are there new things to be learned in this game? yes, of course...but the fact is that playing any good fps game gives you quite a bit of expereince for any other, especially in terms of game formats and such

Someone's opinion is neither right nor wrong. Quote me where I said 6v6 is the right way or where I say I am right.

I think a clan who has played games from 4v4 to 8v8 (such as dh, agb, bob, etc) have more chance of getting their opinion looked at rather than someone who played qw for 5 years then joined an rtcw clan.

An example would be: Someone has played netball for 3 years and is trying to go into basketball saying their team orders and way of playing is completely wrong. If an argument starts up over that subject, who's likely to be more voiced; the already experienced basketball players or the netball player?

PS: When you make a valid comment on an issue cagecunt, I'll respond. Not when you twist everyone's words or make assumptions that someone is arrogant. Although, you should check your mirror.

You seem to have taken offence to the bit where he stated he felt he was experienced in wolf games, that's all.

This is a discussion for people thinking of entering the BW RtCW league and what rules should apply in it. If you don't agree with someone's opinion, say so and say why you don't. Don't turn it in to an argument like you have done.
We realise you think it should be 8v8, i'm interested in why you think it should be. (seriously, give me some reasons, u never know u might change my mind.)

Frankly i think that this debate has turned into a slanging match between certain individuals.

I agree that 8v8 on some maps can be hectic, specially for those with not so good pcs/conns. The FPS can be close to 0. 6v6 seems fair enough, doesnt offer quite as much madness which is good in some games however. I would quite happily play 6v6 or 7v7 or 8v8. In the end, IT IS A GAME! I dont think the creators of the fine masterpiece that is RtCW thought "Lets make the maps so that its really hard to play 8v8 clan games." Im sure some of you think that that has no relevance, but in the end, each map has its own individual qualities and faults, but thats why there different.

As for the experience shit thats been going on here. I do not care what ANYONE says, if you have played another online game such as QW or CS, then it isnt going to be difficult at all to get down the basics of RtCW. I would bet quite a lot of money, that "Pro" online gamers that are hardcore at Q3 and have never played RtCW, could take almost anyone at simple deathmatch. Of course RtCW is not all about killing people, (christ i was a sniper, killed about 20 guys and was still last ffs) but the basic skillz at gameplay MATTER! The experience of playing since QW only makes a difference if you was any good at it, which evidently by the arguments beign cast here, you wre not. (Carefull, is that an assumption i just made?)

And as for the bawbag that commented on the fact that "Cagecunt" was like all Trunip Farmers, i must disagree, we all have our qualities and faults, but noone is quite like cage. I myself like to put my point forward, but im sure that cage would take no offense if i said that i dont want to be said to be the same as him.

I've said my piece, i very rarely comment on this type of thing, but whatever eh, need to say shit sometime.

With 6v6 maps like depot turn in to two 3v3's, which essentially boils down to who has the greater deathmatch skills. With 8v8 it throws in the additional tactical element of "3 defenders or 5?" "3 attackers or 5?", which can make a huge difference
