Jup steps down

[Jupitus]

Well... I have now been playing DAoC almost full time (in my spare time) for over a year, and it is now time for a rest. I shall be handing the reins of Phoenix Legion over to my deeply respected second in command, Laird MacGregor, on Sunday and then putting my feet up a while and taking it easy.

Enemies out there, don't all party just yet I will still be around from time to time for the odd RvR foray and the like, so you can still expect me to die somewhere in your frontier after today, albeit perhaps not quite so often

I'd like to say a huge thank you to Phoenix Legion for being the best guild in Europe, a great group of friends, and for making it all such a fun adventure

I'll greatly miss the lone infiltrator popping up in the middle of my group "suiciding" on me.

Since you'll still be about from time to time though im sure it will make the occasions when you do appear seem all the more suprising and significant.

Jups gone you say!?

Hell no...!!! Jups on the all expenses paid holiday to Jamaica.

Know well kinsmen, as Brother Jupitus relaxes and returns as the Ninja Monk he's ordained above Guild Master, the Phoenix Legion does indeed enter a new age.

But what flavour will this new era be? The anxious Beardy Wife's and Leaf Eaters have a right to question....

Well, one which sees the auldest guild in Europe still stand for closed beta principles... fair play, good will, hard team work, solid alliance, realm dedication... to name but a few.

The Legion is a guild with a solid friendship with ALL Albions on prydwen, born out of its humble closed beta core that are still present to this day.

Beardy Wife’s, Leaf Eaters... can you see our emblem from a mile off? The one with the bright yellow, red chevron, black bird, aye that's the ones, we don't hide behind trees or black cloaks, but make a presence known by primary colouring above ANY emblem designed to strike at your retinas... that’s the PL!!! We lead by example, and from the front!!!

Know well this, Brother Jupitus has served as her GM after the mighty Defoe for many a moon, through calm and storm. Never a steadier senior guild can be found!!! Now, through grace, a Warlord Prime of Albion has been blessed, and truly blessed, with the mantle of Legion. And they that know this auld Warlord will know well, this is glory for Albion.
