Well, if all goes to plan, my job title will be Royal Air Force Intelligence Officer.

Or 'PAPER Pusher' as DMW refers to it as.

I work for an American based company therefore we have "ranks".

Mine is Assistant Vice-President (AVP).

Impressive until you realise there are thousands of AVPs :)

<tangent>

You don't work for Credit Suisse do you ?...

</tangent>

My title is simply "developer".

I've seen some really contrived IT titles in the past.

Technical Operator, at the moment.

Basicly, I fire and control rockets/missiles for 50 miles or so, until they reach another point, where they are taken over by another branch of our company.

But I used to have the grandiose title of Fisherman. Fwoah!

You still have your dignity :D I, however, have a just-above-minimum-wage job and no soul.

I'll second the no soul bit, you slave to Curry's! However, you still earn more than the measly £40 I get from the college each week that I haven't been paid for the past 6 weeks :|

Cheer up echo - I was in the same position last year: Retail Assistant in a GAME shop, earning about £4.25 an hour, doing about 25 hrs per week. It was shit money, and the manageress was a bitch.

Great discounts though (30% off games, 25% off peripherals and 10% on hardware).

Barely above minimum wage Sharma, so don't expect to have loads to spend on discounted games...

Plus the hours are all over the place during normal retail hours - can be in at 8:30 am one morning, then start at 5pm the next and work to 10pm, or later depending on the area.

Ahh well I earn slightly more than GAME wages it seems, plus I'm off to Uni to be a student-dosser-scum in September, so I can get a real job after that, maybe! :cheers:

Currently I'm a senior server technician, which is a bit of a plain job title. And makes me feel even older than I already am :(

Before that I was an infrastructure support officer, which felt a bit more exotic.

Both essentially the same job, the current title being one reorganisation later.
