DH is by far some of the best players on EXC and those who can compete are NP RR old vgn old LA etc etc, I've seen DH mages do stuff that only 1 LA could do better (Twinkies) I've seen DH perform that LA could only do if we had a good day.(also depends on our grp setup) (donno much with the other guilds)the pb might have been abit OP but hey what is balanced in daoc?

I didn't mention any specific classes - the point is that some classes (in every realm) are more powerful than others which will give the players of those classes an advantage (duh).

Best ToA items? forget that albs have the highest numbers therefore they can easily get any toa item just by doing a quick /who 50 and asking?

TOA items don't require numbers as much as the time needed to camp/farm/level them. Therefore the advantage in TOA has been with players who have more time to play, more so than ever before. Is a fully toa'd infi who beats a non-TOA'd ns a better player? Fact is you can't tell.

Practice as a full group? you got zergs...which most albs might not realise but is just a number of fg's together who are too afraid to roam too far away from zerg?.

you won't cause I haven't played much since October (that's when I started working after finishing university) - DH has stopped playing sometime in summer...

that's not the point though - all the "good" groups stopped playing and now only albs are left - wonder why that is? (hint: it has nothing to do with GP)

Fact is, midgard level 50 population hardly supports rvr and ml/artifact raids at the same time anymore. Its getting to be a real pain for many people to get the PvE parts done, so they can get into RvR. On top of that (naturally), alot of guilds have lost many members the last couple months, and there are few left that boost 10+ each evening (think ours is fairly typical, from ~15 primetime to about 5 now :/ ). This makes coordination even harder between those still playing.

DH played alot together, they knew eachother strength's and weaknesses which might help them win a fight when they face 2 fg's vs 1 fg. (even now in NF that will work)
What did the trick for DH to be able to farm so many albs
1) They built a group with the nes classes.
2) They had relics
3) GP
4) all high RR .
5) Very good templates which they farmed countless hours of pve for.

add teamplay to that and you got yourself a ganksquad.
you might consider teamplay as skill, but the rest is just the differen between power gamers and casual players.

Coz i didn't toa/ml my cabby and thus can't compete.
At the time my cabby had opted gear(pre-toa) i ran in a fg casters from SS, we took 2-3 fg TD down, Why? coz we had high RR's in the group and all ran in opted gear + opted group setup.

btw fotm, can't come up with any decent argument so you start calling me names? Well, you can only use the amount of brains you got. "Forgive them father as they don't know what they are doing" a wise person once said. He meant people like you.

Really, when i read the prydwen boards they whine about the albs zerging, and alb stealthzergs, when i played there it was generally albs zerging which i don't have a problem with.
