haveing played all 3 cc classes (before 1875 range, and after), sorc have no penalty in the mezz war if played/sc:ed correctly.

bard has to rely on insta singel or aoe insta on the main pac healer to win if the healer spots him (wich most decent healers do).

sorc however can unstick way back and mezz at 2150 range, however since most sorcs on excal dont seem to be paying attention nor panning they get jumped + insta:ed not a very nice comination. - get jumped with any cc class and you will loose.

Leave em with the instas, but remove insta amnesia ffs.

It's insane to give sorcs bolt range mezz while their opposing mezzer can insta interrupt (even on a quickcast) from even further away.

Yeah ok. How many battles actually start at 2150range? And when mid/hibs can do purge and use instant even if you win CC war it's not enough...

on all fights when i played sorc the enemy was _forced_ to insta mezz orelse they would get mezzed (this was with only 1875 range), and the driver is suppose to choose correct paths aswell, instead of going paths wich do not benefit for the sorc.

yes, bards can purge then group heal, mezz, play end and sprint away, cast mezz, spam dd & lull, the use AM, MOC AOE, then cure poison/disease, fetch the paper, sweep emain the whole time they're watching their radar screens.

all fights start at 2k+ range m8s. the flat landscape of emain makes this possible. even if you win mez, just GP and mez the others. hi ez mode.

if a sorc isnt awake enough/good enough to win a mez war with thier range and toa cast speed they should really consider rolling a new class.

whereas if a group with innsta mezz is hit from behind or the side... then all bard has to do is spin on a button and insta them.... sorcs cant do that vs hib/mid grps

everybody seems to take the insta mezz whine from albs as though all fights come from head on full range start.... which 90+% of the time isnt the case.

insta >> long range qc anyday imo im saying that based on ALL scenarios . not just the full range head on battles and even then ranged cast vs speed6+insta isnt as easy as many think.

speed6+insta isnt as easy as many think.

since you don't really use insta's on a fight that has already commenced (when you add), you can asume both groups are moving and panning camera so you should see inc from all sides

but when ppl just /stick the leader and switch their brains off, and leader only looks forward..well.. u get my point

All the bard gotta do is hit it as they get about 1900 range and then they got about 3s to go the further 400 units and use castable (or insta-mezz if they really want).

Soru, I would so like to believe your theories, but insta-mezz, single insta aoe stun etc, is too much. And tbh Playing against u guys is no fun. I can safely say that not in a blue moon, will we ever beat u fg v fg. Yet we can beat any other FG on Excalibur.

Last night there were 2 Optimum Midd groups out, NP and Raid's group. Impossible, ridiculously feroucious and uber and deadly and in your face and overpowered. The Spirit masters, the Savages, even the zerkers, the shamans and the 700 healers. no fun at all.

Everytime we fight u its the same, I can almost hear u on Ventrilo.

so what ure saying is that sorc cast spd on ae mezz is 3s.. OKOK. Amnesia doesnt interupt, it only cancels the spell ure currently casting (unless u resist it). I doubt theres any bards that can lul the sorc -> mezz the inc grp -> mezz the sorc on 1sec..

if Sorc mezzed, purge, qc, moc, paper armor, lower hp, still have cast time, 1875range mezz, 1500range ae root

if bard, purge, gp, moc, isntant lul, dd

As i see it if sorc gets mezzed we barely got any chance of surviving compared to healers, bards aint that god aswell still insant lul,

as i see it 1875 is a nice advantages in beginning of battle using ae root after we get in range of healer bard cc.

i dont think bard insta is the problem, the problem is having insta stun on healers - since we all know if u use an insta its a shit mezz that wont last long enough - however with healers there is no penalty just use insta stun and then castable over the top - full mezz duration thxverymuch.
