It's how all new releases seem to be coming out, allows them to justify a higher price. Nice having the digital copy and DVD though as a bonus.

I don't really need that, suppose I could give it to a homeless person to keep him warm.

quite like the idea of it coming with a digital version tbh means i can whack it on my iphone if im off on a lengthy journey

its not just blu ray tho i got it with the A-team dvd as well a free digi well not free i guess but you know what i mean i think its a nice extra feature tbh makes buying a dvd much more attractive to your average consumer who cant be assed to do a rip etc

Just so you know, the digital version is time limited.
I think it gets withdrawn at some point later this year. If you've already got your copy then fair enough, but getting a fresh copy after that date won't be possible.

I also like the idea of bluray and DVD in the same box. If you have a DVD player and later upgrade to a bluray, it makes a lot of sense.

I got inception for £15, which is about the going rate for bluray without any extra copies. Didn't think it too bad, considering that gives me a hi-def version to watch on the big tv, dvd version for my bedroom where there's no bluray option, and a digital version for when I'm out and about.
