I live in America but I'm Irish, I moved here about 10 months ago.

Also Ireland are not in NATO we are a 'neutral' (not really but we pretned to be) country.

I just think that people should chill out with the Irish-UK problems, since WW2, relations with the Irish people have been fine, the relations with hardline terrorist groups and the UK, haven't, obviously, people just need to stop digging up bones over situations, we don't moan at the scandanavian countries for invading us hundreds of years ago, nor do we moan at the Normans for invading us hundreds of years ago.

While I totally agree that what the IRA does is totally ireprehensible, I don't think it's fair to compare Scandanavian vikings pillaging to the way that England moved into our country for 800 years and completely changed it forever.

Ofc it's fair, lmfao, they invaded our country, they pretty much wiped out the original race, it was just alot longer ago.

I've been moaned at for having this view, but it was a case of build a empire; ie, invade other countries, or get invaded.

It was the Normans who originally invaded Ireland, not the British, so hey, get's a bit complex from here
