I need a scout template

Hi, i need a scout template (sniper, so full longbow) which includes :

GSV
Mariashas Gloves (i can get scallars too)
Golder Spear
Astral Bow of Dismay (ml10) one

the other is up to you,

i am thrust so i need to cap dex + str

PS : i might use ml10 cloak, so i will have to use ml10bp + ml10 leggins for it, i dont care since i own the items.

No disrespect, but I think you need to set your priorities:

If your scout is full longbow (sniper), you will *NOT* benefit from any melee-bonusses to begin with. Its useless, not like 5% more melee-damage will make a difference, instead of hitting for 50 you hit for 52, it wont help your case.

In order to maximize your bow-damage, you should consider

* Golden Scarab Vest
* Mariasha Sharkskin Gloves
* GOLM Archery Version

from there on you go build up archery-haste, DEX-cap etc.

Stuff like ML10 leggings/chest are simply not worth it, if you go for archery, as they have no archery bonusses.

for sniper spec you should use immolated bow to max damage, otherwise try braggarts bow or the champion weapon.

cant remember what the max damage from ml10 bow is, i managed to get 1011 on braggarts with crit strike the other day think immolated hits for 1100ish

SoM is really a must as well

Well, the ml10 bow has a 60delve debuff so it should hit harder than the immolated bow, but i really wanna use it, so any templates would help me a lot , since i really havent made a scout template ever...

iirc ml10 weps have 2% bonuses V players witch stacks to make ur max bow damage 12% rather than 10 so stick with ml10 imo

edit: nvm

u need an arti bow /champ bow to get the 10% to begin with :<

cap is 10 for all archery toa bonuses (speed, dmg, range) from items.

since when? an is that just for bows cos lots used to use ml10 weps for the 2% v players witch stacked with the 10% v all giving 12% melee damage

but doesnt matter with bow as thier arent the variety of items you need to get 12% with ml10 bow anyway

you cant get 10% dmg with bows

check it:

3/4 Bows : 3%
1/4 Bow : 2%

Nough send & oh and does your resist window actually show 12% melee/style dmg or is this just more "hidden" Mythic crap?????

I dont make up items sorry - right 3/4 bows stands for 3 of the 4 bows with % Bow Dmg ie braggarts, Fool's and Champ. 1/4 stands for ml10 bow

Bow is effected by dex - I thought you wanted a sniper template!!!!!!!

OK but I fail to see how your template could be cheaper as :-

1) All the items barr 2 are quests items or Arti's. Only trouble would be the helm & the bracer (which is farmable)

2) The Champ bow hits harder than the ml10. IE ML10 bow: 5.5 spd 2% dmg (75 value debuff) Champ bow is 5.6 spd 3% dmg.

FYI the caps would roughly be @ rr5 45 bow spec - 45+15 bow

ML10 bow: 570 normal shot 1140 Critshot
Champ bow: 587 normal shot 1174 Critshot

SC really didnt matter you couldve used 99% qua armour and still cap what you needed for sniping.

BUT hey as you pointed out, you just wanted some opinions - thats mine.On a side note IF I ever decided to be a sniper - rest assured a dex4 fe4 rr9 sniper scout would hurt with 50 bow - I wouldve chosen the champion bow over the ml10 bow

Maybe I got some of the item's stats wrong - let me know.

Over all a nice balance of resists, skills but I would've gone thrust with that high dex & being a saracen. With PD and CL resist buff line, you'll have a good chance to live.
