How much has your Daoc addiction cost you?

Tbh nothing its save my money keeps me out of the ale house and gf can keep eye on me and now we get on better than ever

well.. played for the 3 1/2 years its been out, with some fairly big breaks.. so lets say 2 1/2 years playing. 30 months, £8 a month... £240. had a second account for at least a year and a half as well.. so another £144. so £384 in subs.

then actually buying the games...

£30 for original camelot
£35 for new camelot and SI
£20 for SI
£40 for 2x TOA
£60 for 3x Catacombs


also bought TOA for someone elses acc, so £225

add £50 or so cos ive probably underestimated/forgotten.
£384+£225+£50 = £659

think daoc probably cost me my A-levels, but in fairness im now doing something far better and more rewarding.. so i should thank daoc for that.

had 1-2 girlfriends come and go since ive been playing.. but i wouldnt say camelot cost me any girlfriends.. except in the sense that i prefered to play cam than actively going out girlfriend hunting .

what about /played though? i guess taking all things into consideration, 4 years playing daoc (started on day 1 of euro beta) gotta be something like 250-300 days.

and to be honest i dont regret any of it



edit: looking at everyone elses, and considering how long ive been playing, my total spent looks kinda low? have i missed something out totally?
