Yep, that's capitalism for ya. It's fooled Toht into thinking that pheromones have ever been conclusively linked to sexual attraction in humans by anyone other than the aforementioned "people who put making a buck over the mental health of their neighbours".

But hey, Toht, if you want to believe dodgy unproven theories that have never been backed up by proper experimental fact, then knock yourself out mate ;)

Can't see how "not using deo products" is capitalism but hey :D

If it's been proven that pheromones have no effect at all, then it's new to me.

I think this is what i went by, seemed good enough. Like said, don't have to reek of the stuff, but balance is needed.

And :twak: for still bringing that up, it went off god discussion in the first 5 posts :D

trim my pubes

Yes. Essential I feel.

I want my cock sucked as much as the next man, it is insisted that my "bush" is "under control".

Not to mention the extra inch it adds.

I hate to agree with you (you raging metrosexual :D) on this point I do. Unless you get a chick obsessed with 70's porn I think it's considerate to trim that area, nothing more.

Well maybe our helmets aren't as close to our bush as yours so sometimes I let it run wild a bit without fear of pubic digestion for the wife

(I know what I was getting at....I think)

Regardless, it's still nicer for all when it's neat and tidy.

Oh and with regards to your thinly veiled assault on my manhood - clearly inspired by your own insecurities about your tiny member!

Well i don't know, it's not like those things are out of my "points of interest" :D

Good grief, aren't you sensitive. Would you like an e-Hug™? :)

Nah, i have to look at the same thing every morning so it's kind of shocking.

I just pull at my beard so hard that i yank the buggers right in!

lol - that's an image that'll stick with me for a while.

Back on topic and on a more serious note, I do think a lot of what Scouse says is true. Not just for guys but for women too - all these adverts that tell people how they should want to look. The more exposure we have to these things the more we think they actually matter*. If there weren't adverts saying "buy this to get rid of that and improve that", would we really give a shit about such things? It always surprises me how a number of the seemingly intelligent women I know really give a shit about the most pathetically pointless shit. What's more, they actually think it's OK to give a shit and expect others to give a shit about these things too - to the point of being quite judgemental of those who don't. It's all a massive crock of shit.

YOU are not impressed.

Trust me on this, NO-ONE is impressed. Get on a tube on any given weekday in London in Summer and look out for the wrinkling of the noses when armpit-boy gets on - there's one in every carriage, some kind of union rule.

Aye, but that's a smell that needs some quenching.

In itself, faint aroma of sweat doesn't harm in the lady department, but men generally will not like it.

I agree that in some cases people need some odor control :D

It depends on what you mean by "sweat". Fresh sweat doesn't really smell per sé, but 1 day old armpit smells bad regardless. It also depends on what you've eaten, ever had a good sniff the next day after a curry? Holy fuck.

Shower usually twice a day (once in the morning, once after Gym),
Two different types of soap and shampoo and conditioner,
Use hair straighteners, hair wax, hair spray,
Moisturise,
Deodorant and aftershave,
Keep nails trimmed

The smell of sweat makes me gag, there's no excuse for it unless you have a medical conidition.

My routine seems minor after reading about the bunch of metros in here :p

When in the UK I have my legs etc waxed once every 6 weeks
Eyebrows and nails done every 3 to 4 weeks

Over here I haven't found anywhere I trust yet so I self wax (OUCH)

Facially I use Dermalogica, if you dont use it I recommend you try it they do a man brand as well but I find them completely awesome.

On my body I moisturise with shea / coconut butter or coconut oil

Hair I like to use frizz ease for curls :)

Shower once or twice a day depending on the heat etc etc

Me? I use stuff to keep spots away. That's about it. Shaving when I feel unclean usually too.

I react badly to shampoos in general, so I have to be careful with what I use -_-'

But so much more fun when you're not hung up worrying about what you look like eh, Tremlar? ;)

Damn straight!

Its me, I dress like this, like it or leave it.

I swear to god if I could of got away with it I would of wore jeans and t-shirt to my wedding, as soon as we got to the hotel I got rid of my suit jacket and for the night doo I wore my jeans and a shirt, no one knew who the groom was :D

My favourite jeans at the minute are Crosshatch, they fit nice and have long enough legs and my favourite t-shirts are any by Duffs. I am quite long so stuff doesn't fit me well.

Scouse - lets unite in a comfy clothes brotherhood and maybe accept tidy pubes people as well (G and his sister for definite).
