Well, its because some people in hibernia are very dominant and think they can do whatever they want to do. Its not hibernia thats rotten. Just some players who are totally addicted to this game and have forgotten that there is a real person behind every char in the game.
But plz dont blame all the hibs. There are loads of friendly people around still.

This ml raid was ok and Vrik did an ok job for some1 who is young and has not done 1 b4. However i think he got led astray by the eventual co-leader and the raid became a very unhappy place to be from there.

To end it all by pre-claiming items that werent pre-claimed in the original FH post is lame and stinks of cheating the ppl who spent 10+ hours on this raid out of a reward. Why run a lotto if all it breaks down into is ppl coming up to the raid leader and saying what he/she wants regardless of the roll while the guy who won teh lotto waits for the item he wanted for a good 20 mins at least while you finally decide to give it to him. Bloody rotten.

I probably wont be allowed on any raid your doing again but thats ok. If speaking my mind and the truth gets me a ban then that shows the mental age of the ppl were dealing with.

1) Vrik did an ok job , you won't hear me say he didn't. However, I'd like u to explain to me how the BG became a very unhappy place to be in with the eventual co-leader. Vrik asked me to help him out , wich I did , and if you can't handle the way I lead stuff then please be my guest and sod off. I hate doing things slow and I wanna get it done with. Keep in mind that I've put my time in this sort of shit as well. In the 5 years of DAoC I've never led anything either apart from some guild raids wich involved maximum 2fg, so it was new to me as well having to keep 50 odd ppl together and doing stuff.

2) the lotto issue. What I said in BG about Katorii's Soul Ring was a joke .. I didn't mean it , I don't need it and therefor I don't want it. If ppl loose it instantly over that then your the ones with issues , not me. (hell , I don't even like raids with pre-claimed stuff) I did my random and went afk as I usually never roll high anyway. Came back and Mopish pm'ed me saying he had won the lotto but didn't recieve his ring , I gave him the ring and apologised to him straight away. Mixmix was another person who didn't get what he wanted (Ring of the Calm). I logged in the famous AFK-loot holder and gave him his ring, apologised to this person as well. Me cheating over some sodding pixels? No thanks. I got most of the ML9 drops on my BM now , ppl who want can PM me ingame and let me know what they want from it. I don't know what happend to ML6 and ML7 loot , and the ML8 loot I originally had has been given to Vrik right after the raid was done.

3) I don't mind ppl saying what's on their minds ... I do it myself all the time and don't care what ppl think of it. Flame away , I couldn't care less. But don't call me a cheater/liar cus that's where hell breaks loose.

And im a hib b4 u go saying it , was on these raids myself but logged b4 ML9 for work purposes, was a Slow raid but i cant blame Vrik for that as it was said it was his first Raid , and we got em done so generally wasnt a that bad. However i must say some of the BG speech was a little uncalled for at times, same as the raids on the day b4. Maybe its cos i was allways a lot more lenient on my raids i ran or because albs, despite being gimps , tend to be a little less serious when doin these things (prolly due to the fact we could be more careless due to numbers) but i personally dont really like the way a realm treats its own people sometimes.

Will be runnin me own ML 1-10 when me Caster is 40+ , tho i think ill split it over a few more days , doing it all in such a short period of time a lot of people cant hang on till the end of things. Cant comment on the lotto as i wasnt there at the time tho.. :/

I was late for the ML1-5 as football isues and she stepped in, she didnt have to, but she did, so she was nice to you guys by helping you out, then you moan over a ring, its easy to farm isn't it? Well, stop moaning now, its over, and lets get back to RvRing with our new ML8/9 characters . And again, im terribly sorry what happened, I tried my hardest and made an effort which is what counts.

I wasn't thinking at all? If others used their brains a bit more they would have figured that I was. I don't like the idea of pre-claimed items raids , and I have never pre-claimed/kept something for myself ONCE on a raid.

As or future raids may want to try do them over 3 days maybe as with small numbers in bg people get tired very easily and the afk/duel log factor does not help... as for mlvl 9 LOL next time somebody bring a shade or 2 i know will...As for people who got left behind helping peolpe im sorry abuot that but if BG listened would there grp ldrs not have been in CG? to report infomation like that? as /bu/s /as/gu/g spam can be a little daunting ina small chat box....

Anyways thanks for raid guys i hope we can get mlvl9 finished next weekend maybe in evening il brin my shade to help with gens...distraction is ya friend!!!

Morning everyone.

If people don't mind I would hope that I can sum some things up here and then put it to bed.

1) Vrik did a pretty good job considering it was his first raid. Perfect? No but people get better with practice. Now that I'm hoping the issue with the lotto can also be cleared up I would certainly consider going on another of his, and Dayente's, raids again.

2) ML9. This in the cold light of day I will put down to a combination of factors - the lateness of the hour with numbers, concentration and tempers running low, the inexperience of the BG leader, people going AFK (yes we all know there were some) and some general bad luck. Since the Phoenix didn't go down, and to his credit Vrik has already posted about doing this on his sticky, I would recommend that the new raid does ALL of ML9 again that day if possible. All of ML9 can be done in an hour with the right classes and it may give those who missed out following the 9.6/9.7 situation chance to get caught up. Much as I would like .10 on the character who missed out last night I'm quite happy to bring an ani or something to help out if needed.

3) The lotto. This I'm afraid was a bit of a mess last night. Firstly one of the mules went long term AFK, a little ironic since the BG leader repeatedly asked for people not to be Secondly there was the situation with the ring. I'm sorry Dayente but at no stage did that 'pre-claim' come across as a joke which is why people reacted as they did. The lotto winner repeatedly asked for it and was routinely ignored, in fact the lotto continued on around him despite his repeated requests. On the other hand I'm glad that it was all sorted out after I left, the lotto winner got his ring (which incidentally Vrik I imagine is NOT the easiest to farm or there wouldn't have been such an issue in the first place) and the mule account was also logged in to pass over the remainder of the loot. Therefore I must give credit to Vrik/Dayente for resolving the difficulties in the end. Again some of the issues may well have been because time was moving on.

4) Several other people in this thread have suggested that future raids could be staggered over 3 sessions rather than 2. When one considers that people must work or have studies, the time difference, and also the sheer hardwork that a long ML raid requires for both BG leaders and the players (who let's not forget are as critical to a successful raid) I think that suggestion to be a wise one.

In conclusion thanks to the two leaders and I hope to see some or all of you again on the ML9(.10) raid soon.

As one of the people left behind I will add my bit. When a bunch were attacked by mobs I tried to heal and keep them alive and so lost the main zerg. When I was then killed and asked for a rezz Honey told me that "I should not be so nice to people". This sums up her attitude to the game - that of a selfish bitch who wouldnt piss on a burning puppy to put out its fire if it delayed her 2 mins. At least Vrik had the grace to pm and apologise, although it was a bit late by then. Waiting 2 minutes to rezz the dead after hours of the ml raid would have hurt no one. I will remember to treat her with the same consideration if I ever get the chance.

If I was that much of a selfish bitch Tetley I wouldn't even have bothered to help Vrik on these raids AT ALL. Treat me as you wish tho , like you said so yourself in other words ... I couldn't care less.

Asking politely is an important social skill that you can teach directly. Lets teach Tetley to accept 'preclaimed' for an answer, but that can be more of a challenge. Lets get Tetley to stop and look at the bg leader say "OK" Stay calm. Do not argue or whine. If you disagree, discuss it later, calmly and in private. Focus on the problem for 2-3 months. tbh i dont care what happened to tetley. he died because he unstuck from the bg, end of story. as for the two camps you talk about im probably not in the camp you are in, but lets not get off topic, thats a totally different thread.
