Of what? The animals bit or the culture bit? Because the first one has been pretty much proven, and the second is pretty self-evident, we liking sex definitely came along before the discovery of art.
I do not deny that our initial hedonistic view of sex, in its most primal form, went on to influence artistic expression. However, I do not believe that society's current view of sex is as a result of biological urges. Porn and society have influenced our perception of sex too much for that to be true.
