Yep, seems to happen every time they patch, can't seem to cope with everyone logging back in at the same time.

sadly I know of 3 events you can exploit, that 1's quite shit tbh, theres one event where a malfunction asura gate spawns mobs in 4 waves, and event reset straight away; could easily get gold medal + loot from it.

Well this is the 3rd build today, first 2 was working ok, guess not to high pop online at the moment, but this last build people are getting home from work and school. I got in 30 min ago, but crashed instantly....

FWIW I'm on Gunnar's Hold as well, part of the guild 'Executed' which in turn is part of this 'The Initative' community (not really a WvW alliance yet).

And, yes, people got kicked off around ~14:30 for a new build and the login servers have been hammered/unresponsive since. I've gotten to the Character Selection screen about 5 times now, but then couldn't actually get in-game (stupid design that requires login server response for CS->in-world, or indeed for changing zones).

from what i gather all classes can heal but Elementalist Water spec is more of a "pure" healer as far as one can be in the game

yer...just reading through some stuff. that or guardian for healing...but a thief healing...does that work ??

dont play it then as theres nothing classic about it , no tanks no healers just roles like Dot dmg or direct dmg or support roles with buffs and healing abilities; or crowd control roles etc.


you basically have to play it like a Solo game, whilst working towards an objective with group or raid or guild etc.

I transferred to Ruins of Sumria or whatever it's called the queues for everything on Farshiver peaks were just beyond ridiculous.

WvW when i want and when i do i feel like the underdog not just some huge zerg running around smashing everything up in sight, so far this server feels a lot like Midgard in terms of small man teams running round, today i was in a 4 man team and we were causing havoc for the Farshiver peak guys killing people along the way to wherever they were joining their zerg.

Far Shiverpeaks is quite full because of all the events we are throwing with 3 of our alliances.

One of the servers we play against was stupid enough to announce a "Call to Arms" on REDDIT today, which we countered quite good xD
