Guild Villages

Considering these are not out for about 4-5 months (probably) and these are not meant to be guild villages (i.e. a single person can own a house as well as a guild owning one) then you doing this is not unfair, but unrealistic as someone could easily just take a house in that village before the guild gets there. So the thread doesn't really have a point to it in that sense at all.

Sorry, but randomising things just wont work - as the zone goes open people are going to rush in and claim their spots regardess of the wishes of others. I was simply trying to sort out the disputes now rather than at the time, so that people at least have a basis for arguing with "intruders" to their guild villages.

Fair do's, your choice, FC will have our SOS mincers ready for some uberfastzoomspeed claiming, seeing as people aren't interested in doing this in any way sensibly.

You can close the post now, there's really no point to it any more.

The idea to already sort out who will get what house etc sounds nice, but no one knows in 5 months what guilds will still exists...who will still play etc etc etc...

so there is no use in already "claiming" something now

when the time for housign is there, you might wanna start a similar thread...but for now it's just god to get flamed by everyone


and maybe its better not to claim anything just yet, but ask what guild "would like" xx zone etc... would make people less angry at you

This can be settled in a really nice way, or the opposite. However, it cannot be settled now. But I would really like to see FC or GoL standing there with the worst spot (if there is one) and just play along with it.
IMO it doesnt exist.

Theres gonna be moaning, flaming, whining etc etc. Wich really is sad, coz it really shouldnt matter who gets what spot, we are all Albions and we are all sharing the same green grass.

I can see the fun factor in this, but;

3) Not before we know which people and/or guilds CAN afford a house.

I would really want this to work, and would be fun but it won't happen and will only get ugly I think...

The smallest house is tipped for being priced at roughly 1P (if you read the jargon on the housing site thoroughly) with the next one up being roughly 4-5P. I'd guesstimate the villa will be about 15-20P and the Mansion will set people back about 50-60P.

(based around mythic quotes, target audiences, and how much cash people have to spend on average)

edit: Point i was trying to make was that nigh-on everyone will be able to afford a house of some sort, so "I'm not sure I can afford one" shouldn't be an issue for anyone (certainly not lvl 50's who can farm 1P in no time at all).

Nice attempt WF to organise a peaceful and adult solution to the forthcoming housing, its just a shame that people have to nit pick and needlessly cause aggro over it. Nice idea all the same, an organised and fair system would have resulted in a rather nicely laid out and easily navigateble set of villages where people could easily get lots next to there allies and guilds, alas people insist on finding insult and injustice where there is non so the settlements will be random and chaotic no doubt.

Still if this does workout, Dark Knights would like Kingsdale, if you could add that to your list please.

IMO the villa is the best of the houses, very nice indeed
