Tried to go on-line last night.
Went to play a net game and it asked for my key, I put in the serial from the credit card thingy, new name and password and it refused me. Said my serial was invalid. Did it again and the same happened.

Am I missing something horribly obvious here?

You've got to register first - when you get to that screen, there should be an option at the bottom to register your key and a new username/password. It's not terrifically obvious - I did the same at first.

Well I'm on board, kinda.

Wheel and game both ordered Tuesday night, wheel came yesterday, but the game hasn't appeared yet.

If it comes tomorrow I'll try to be there.

So far then I have only been playing the demo, and with not much success. I am roughly 12secs behind the field in Sim mode using the Ferrari, even on a goodish lap. That equates to laps around 2:37 at Spa, is this reasonable for day 2?
Things are improving slowly.

A fairly clean lap of Spa, I played a bit today with the GT cars round there too. might try and make a more complicated vid soon, with picture in picture and stuff. Just wish the rev counters would work in replay

Nice vid Gumbo, great lines and very smooth. (like the music too)

It was a touch slower than I have done it in the Ferrari in the demo, how would the 2 compare? I can guarantee that my lap didn't look anywhere near as pretty as that!

When it asks you to log in, down at the very bottom of the screen (where the "leave event" button usually is I think).

There is indeed - 1.4 is out. You can download from the game (click on What's New) or you can go to the site and download the patch there.

I just spent 2 hrs charging round Donington in a Saalen on Sim mode.

Qualified 12th, managed to get to 8th, but I think I over-cooked my tyres 'cos I spun on the penultimate lap for a wanky 19th of 24.

Gutted after 12 laps of graft

I'll post the movie of my hot-lap in the morning.
