Since I havent played that long I wonder, when was the last time hibs did an RR on Mid?

Most of my MARR's in old frontiers were against the mids, generally because i knew we could have fun fighting against them and i had a nice route that let us get to the keep unnoticed (most of the time anyway).

When new frontiers arrived, hib and mid were both down, whereas albion were preaching that they were going to overrun and take everything over.
I did my bit to try to motivate the hibs, we planned and braced ourselves and it worked, we didnt get overrun and managed to take the first relic from the albs, which knocked them down a peg and gave us a nice morale boast.

We took relics from mids and albs, they took them from us, at times we had 2 extra relics and for weeks had to fight off dayly attacks from both realms, often at the same time.

On my raids who i attack depends on the situation, but i generally have more respect for the mids then i do the albs and given the two its the albs i prefer to give a good fish slapping to.
Saying that you have to remember, the main decider of which realm we go for is if im running out of friar ale or dwarven mead. <grin>

It was a good raid, though i thought we should of gone for the power relic instead of str. Mids took advantage of the situation, which any 3rd party realm would do, and hib was slow crew retreating from the str relic area and tracking down the mids. So we only have ourselves to blame for that.


Anyway, was good fun and done during primetime. Roll on next relic raid !

Was a funky wee day imo, and who can blame the Mids for jumping on Surs? They seen the opportunity and went for it.. I would expect everyone in here to do the same. But as for the whole Hibgard thing... if it weren't for those Mids coming in from the rear when we were at Castle Excalibur, I very much expect we could have taken the str relic. Just a shame half our force was concentrating on the albies and half on the Middies from the rear. But ah well, war is hell and all that shit. Thanks for the raid Arun, was very well lead, and grats to both the Albies for a good defence, and for the Middies for seizing an opportunity... its days like yesterday that really make me glad I play this game tbh

And please, those crazy imsomniac Albie buggers... dont disrespect your fellow realmies by taking the relic back at 4am, its actions like that which make us Hibbies and Middies more eager to tromp all over your lands.

To all albs who were out defending nice job at Strength relic kicked ass well there you did on us.

Had a good day all round nice to see RvR enjoyed by all and not by the elite.

As to Hibguard alliance like to say you can think what you want but Mids only entered into fight when we started to go for Beno and if we were in league with the Mids then I wish they would of stopped killing me lol.

Respect to all that was involved not worth Whining,oppurtunities were taken some were won as Mids got Power and some were lost our Failure to capture Strength.

prydwen OF hibs had several months 3 relic, albs another 3, some time hibs had even all 6, and same time enjoying underpop advantages.
dunno how situation has been in excal but pryd hibs have been most of time very strong rvr force, even there was usual whine about emain.

personally didnt played EU server when NF launched.
what read mid/pryd was several weeks 24/7 hammered by albs and hibs, result in end mids loose all? relics.

few time what mids have done RR to albs before cluster (pryd) and cluster time, hibs have allways attack against mids, co-operation?

have look around, ask from friends server population.
when pryd + excal was ~1800 player online, mids had ~430, hibs 420 (up bonus) albs no idea but this give good image.

AMEN, finally the brainiac and beutiful have crawled out of hiding from the whinestorm.

And tbh Mid gave albs + hib every chance there was to get it back when we ran back with it.

I swear if i had Sojik-p near me on a LAN when he drove the relic zerg (that most of the time were like 2-3fg), i would have thrown a coca cola can in his head and hijacked his keyboard.

He ran the right way then turned and went towards the one way slope maze, until he was near the end of the dead end, he turned and at that point AD(alb) + 5fg hibs were behind us killing of like half the zerg. And alb + hib ran into eachother while chasing us.
Then he ran back and took the mega long way back. My heart was prolly doing 100hz like the flicker of my monitor.

What matters is that, we got the relic in a COOL way. we crushed the ones remained standing and got our prize.

but i swear Sojik-p, GAH GAH /slap but still /hug.
