The whole point is there are no pure fg'ers. They add and zerg (in it's various forms) when they want to, but then try and make out that they are somehow "different" from the average player because they only want "fair" fights. They then come and complain/bitch about the "zergers" and "adders" (as if that's something to be ashamed of) when they are just as "guilty" themselves. Why do they do it? Fuck knows. It certainly isn't because they only want fg or fair fights. Their actions time and again prove otherwise.

There are some who prefer fg fights - but that is entirely different from someone who lists themselves as a "fg'er" (usually to try and get some kind of kudos) and whines at everyone else for adding or zerging when they do it themselves.

The joke here is that you have people claiming to want to play a certain way, bitching at people for not "respecting" their right to do so, but then only sticking to their proclaimed code of playing when it suits them. I zerged in a fg last night, we found other zerging fg's and made combat with them. We added on a zerg battle between 1fgh and 1fgm and keeled them all, then got re-zerged and added by DH who keeled us.

I didnt say so, preNF sure beats postNF daoc for me, even if i'm not playing it But as i said most of the FG_players like the pvp_part of daoc and nothing else on the horizon that beats / would beat it anytime soon. So zergs will be around all the time, just like the fg_ppl and threads like this will evolve each day

Not all fgs quit when NF came out btw, was rather funny that some ubor doods didnt even give it a shot at all (2 hours or 1 night rvsr should not be considered as a shot at it )
i would rather have zergs then an empty server on a side note.

People will play how they wish to play, the whiners still whine, soloers will whine about being added on, FG's will whine at being added on by scouts or whatever.

These are all unaliable truths, they wont change.

There is only one thing that is correct and that is to play the game however you want to give yourself enjoyment. I'll help people that have helped me but I owe nothing to the likes of these self proclaimed FGers, all they have ever done is verbally abuse people for playing a game to its full capabilities.

Yes, it was enormous amounts of fun. Hadn't had as much fun in RvR in ages. Some great keep fights, big stand-offs, the odd solo bit of madness while trying to run to a battle (I'll never forget the animist that spotted my cleric on his own, started hitting me with those funny ball things, and got more than a little surprised when I smited him to death). Way, way way more fun than OF was.

Did I miss the FGs? Not even slightly.

Exactly. If someone I see a fight and hear the immortal phrase "DON'T FUCKIN ADD" I'll pile in like a shot. If, on the other hand, I hear something a bit more polite and/or funny I'd steer clear.
