Whether you like it or not Bush is the president and has done a damn good job imo but what makes me laugh is all the people moaning about what he's gotten away with and what he's able to pull off. And yes, imo he WILL be reelected and the polls show that.

Hmm you say he took how many police as his personal body guards when he came to the UK? wow.. shut down London??
I think the last time Tony Blaire was in America we gave him 3 security guards and shut down a starbucks. This speaks volumes of his power.. so :p

And on a side note im sick of people pointing a finger at America as IF THE UK didn't follow along. Duh... last time I looked we were on the same side.
Whether you like Bush or not doesn't matter, wither I think pigs should eat mud doesn't matter. Doing the right thing doesn't win popularity contests and Bush did what had to be done.. IMO his father should of kill the son of a bitch saddam before it even came to this. fact is the UN said something needed to be done, they just didnt have the balls.

Anyways too bad you guys cant vote for his reelection :: rolls eyes::
Oh crap.. It doesn't matter. He's already going to be re elected .. lol

Oh and I also know this wont win me any popularity either, damn being an American is hard! ( all was said sarcastically, somewhat) lol
And I know Im going to get flamed but .. :: waves American flag:: Bring it on!
Bush is a prick..only reason he has so many body guards in London is because Tony Blair etc is kissing his ass (Tony Blair is a prick also). Imo get rid of Blair and Bush..both wankers ;/

To put it simply:
Bush = Dumbass
Blair = Bush's Bitch

It is true that Saddam Hussein was a ruthless dictator and *had* to be removed one way or another but Gee Dubewa went at it alone... the U.S. and its limited coalition could have waited a while to build more international support instead of becoming rogue states.

The U.S. has shown the world that it can do whatever it likes with its military, but most Americans are unwilling to put up with the mounting costs of the war. The U.S. has underestimated the importance of its allies (especially the E.U.), and this will backlash when it will come to economics.

Bush and Blair have entrapped the soldiers (the only people out of the whole mess that are innocent, since they cannot do otherwise- they are following orders) in a situation that was well anticipated by most prior to the war...

Now that the "coalition" fucked up Iraq, it alone must rebuild it, and that's all to it. They have a responsibility to the Iraqi people now to help them rebuild their country and restore authority to the hands of a new Iraqi government (due as early as June).

America is here to stay.. think we proved that after 1776 when we sent your army packing for home. And if Bush is a ho.. and he stayed with your Queen... geeez that's not a good picture.. I think that means we just f*ed your country.. =O

China will overtake America in a century or less. And if the Earl of Sandwich spent more time fighting America rather than inventing lunches we would have kicked your ass! Jerry jerry. etc.

I think the difference between Blair and Bush is that Blair is a politician, and more specifically, a politico. Blair has risen to power through politics, spin, his own wit and so on and so forth. Something you might stereotypically expect of the US president.

Bush has risen to power simply because he is a member of the aristocracy. Something you might expect of a British leader. He and his brother became governors and then he becoming President because of who their father was. The Bush/Gore election was a fiasco. Gore won more votes.

America is not hero to stay, sorry to break ur bubble. but itll be long gone on 100-200 years or so. In the history of man kind no empire has ever stood the test of time, the largest perhaps being the Roman empire that lasted for about 700 years as a actual empire then went into decline. The moves by the US are to try and preserve their dominant position on the world. but inevitably Americal will fall and a new power will be dominant, most likely china.

No, he´s not. At least not by the laws of the United States which - correct me if I´m wrong - require the president to be elected by the majority of the votes.
Bush and his administration is nothing more than a Junta.

lol Bush did get elected and no it isnt done by the majority of the votes. Its done by who won in what state (more like UK system, in principle someone could have on average most votes but only have 30% of the house of commons).

samildanachh, I think Seeaira meant that USA is here to stay as country not as most powerful country. However you are correct that the USA isnt there to stay as most powerful country that will change over time. Could China or an united Europe or anything, but it will happen eventually.

i truly do wonder if we will all wake up one day and realise we are all the same

incidentally i back america all the way for the war on terrorism whether there motives are pure or a not an evil regime has been removed and a good 90% or iraqi's wont be sorry hes gone

your all saying tony blair is bush's bitch maybe you forget that england is one of the few countries that can argue with the US and get something done there way, whether blair is in bed with the bigman or not tony blair is not gonna let bush go around blowing up everyone he wants because they dont agree with him, there will come a time when blair turns round and says no and maybe because we are such close nations he will listen. how many other countries around the world will bush listen to i think you could probably count them on 1 hand

also incase you hadnt noticed oil makes the world go round and the middle east happens to have alot of it so i know this id rather have to trade with america than saddam

so you all go round slating bush and blair but do you really understand why, politics is a complicated thing we all have our own oppinion but we ppl on these boards will never get to know the real reasons why certain choices are made so all we can do is bitch moan and say how much better we could have done it etc

anyway rant over :p

Exactly. And Bush has not won Florida, so he´s not the winner of this election. What happened in Florida was a simple case of manipulation and lies.

Bush did win in Florida, he had most votes but it was within the measure of error of the voting system (that a voting system has one thats so large is ridiculous though), so Gore could have won there actually. However after 3 recounts Bush still had most votes there, so he won.

You being Pro-Amercia isn bad infact its good it does show the other side to the coin . What as Amercia done well for 1 they've gotten rid of to dicatorships in iraq and Afghanistan. but that as created problems such as guerialla warfare in both countries. but other than that globally what have the US done except increase the threat of terrroism outside of america ?

How as he done a good job ? he hasnt found WMD's he's alienated most of europe. More and more US troops are dying in iraq every day. Terrorism is still rampant in the world turkey today being the prime example the way in which hes trying to fight terrorism is wrong now I do grant he is trying to fight Terrorism but how much of that is real and not just so that you see whats going on in his right hand and not in his left hand ?

I cant really understand why blair as stood by the US for this long and pushed this far when they now realize that there was no serious threat to the UK or the US from iraq.

Anyway i think it will be to close to call if he gets re-elected . Now the Dem's have not got a strong person to lead a serious push for the election but with so many us soliders dying every day bush might fuck it up himself.

However after 3 recounts Bush still had most votes there

3 recounts, in which - magically - more and more Pro-Bush votes appeared out of nowhere. It´s a too complex thing to discuss here. You might believe what the Bush Government is telling you, I`m claiming my right to read and believe other, neutral sources of information. To me, it looks like this election was won by money and manipulation. And the entire world is watching.. and doesn´t say a single word.

The "rather be on the stronger side" and "who are we to argue, we will never full understand politics" attitude has been responsible for the biggest Genocide in history. At least learn something from this.
Maybe some sunny day, it´s *your* children who will ask you why you didn´t say and do anything back in 2003.
