Theresa May has said that there's a clear message from all this, that she needs to deliver Brexit.

The one party that has won this election has a clear policy on a 2nd referendum.

I see this spin everywhere from politicians and pundits. Brexit parties and fence-sitters down. Remain parties up. Clear message from voters is get on with Brexit.

Whether you agree with it or not @Embattle people voted for the Lib Dems who are strongly EU.

All elections until Brexit is finished will be based upon Brexit, you'd agree if it was UKIP getting all the councils.

@Gwadien I tend to believe the Liberal Democrats and some others are reading a little too much into the result to suit their narrative.

Well do you believe May when she says the comparative success of pro-Remain parties is a simple message that they should get on with Brexit?

As you know I've tried to avoid anything about brexit in the news and on this forum hence I keep telling you lot to fuck off to the brexit thread, however on the subject of May I nearly punched my monitor when I happened to catch the headline to this news story - May: 'Voters want Brexit to be resolved'

Did nore than 50% of the population vote Lib Dem?

If not, it's an indication that more than 50% of people don't support remain.

Yes..but they do have to grab the chance, they completely ignored brexit while campaigning in leave areas.

That's because there's intelligent people out there who won't use their local council vote as another Brexit vote.

Bit nevertheless lots have.

Actually, I was just asking the question - I've not bothered looking.

But you've answered, and clearly there's more important things on people's minds than brexit or remain.
