And if you think they could get a move to a US model through parliament I'd say you were fooling yourself.

With the majority they're going to have in a couple of weeks they could get anything through.

And they won't push "the US model" through, they'll just incrementally gut the NHS until it's in the hands of private companies

Full disclosure: I so want Corbyn to win, regardless of how much Labour are lels. I just despise everything the Tories are doing right now.

I want Corbyn to win so it starts a new conversation on the type of Brexit we're going to have.

Shaken, not stirred.

I want Corbyn to win because the panic among the drones who aren't prepared for change will be outstanding.

I want him to win because Katie Hopkins said she'd fuck off to America if Labour won.

I want him to win because I believe he genuinely wants a fairer Britain for everyone not just the elite.

He is in this for the people.. and has consistently been in the "right" side of history since he stared in parliament.

He represents an actual different method of government to the Torries (not just Tory light, like the previous labor government)

and most importantly, he refuses to play the bullshit political games that typify our politicians.

He represents a real CHANGE from the "govern in favour of the elite" system we have now.

I think it's important that we get that change.

Couldn't agree more.

Problem is that he 'stands for the people' more than Trump and Farage EVER did and EVER could, however, with the rise of right-wing politics and blaming everything on immigrants, the people won't believe that.

Talking to my father in-law over the weekend, who is secretary and life long member of the local Labour "thing" they really do have zero confidence in him and at local level they are pretty much preparing for oblivion in all Labour areas, but as he says, it is the only way they can get rid of him due to "proper members" being outvoted by the unions and such.

Yeah, sure he means well and wants to make a better Britain and so on but as far as reality goes he doesn't have a clue. Nothing that he wants to do is affordable, neither is it workable, that's if he even has a firm idea of what he wants...As in details. "Free stuff for all" isn't really a workable approach for anyone.

Same applies for May though.

'We'll get an extra 8billion for the NHS, if the economy improves!'

I see you too (and your father in law by the looks of it) have bought into the main stream media campaign to discredit him wholesale.

Congrats.

We can’t ignore the media bias against Jeremy Corbyn anymore

I see you have bought into the idea that lifelong members feel they have a say in the direction their party is going.

Congrats.

Also, saying they are heading for oblivion is a statement of fact, not opinion of the man himself, nor is it an explanation of the reasons why. Unless the last couple of years have passed you by then its pretty bloody obvious that he isn't wanted by the Labour party but due to their own stupid voting rules they have no choice about it. You don't need perceived media bias to establish that, you just need to speak to proper Labour people.

As per though, delicates get their knickers in a twist when awkward reality comes along.

The man is an idiot, an idiot who is supported financially by feckless, life long shirkers who has surrounded himself by incompetent yes men. Only marginally worse and more dangerous than people who want to fuck the country on purpose (the Tories)

You mean that the Labour party has to be Tory-lite, to make all the champagne socialists feel better about their selves?

No. But again you appear to think the deliverer of bad news agrees with the news.

It is factual that the direction the Labour party is heading is not popular with Labour members, nor the public, so to win they either need to convince the electorate (which they are failing miserably at) or change to suit the electorate. Otherwise, they will lose.

I agree they not popular with the older members but they have plenty of new members and polls show the public actually starting to agree and prefer them

New members = yoots, statistically more likely to be idle fuckers that don't bother to vote, like the masses whining about how the old people took away their future with Brexit yet bizarrely didn't vote "because it doesn't make any difference" fuck'um. Why chase a voter that doesn't vote.

No, they won't be but that doesn't take away from the fact that they could have a say in the political process if they got off their arses for 5 minutes and placed their vote.

Politician: We want to do a thing
Yoot: I don't like thing
Politician: Oh, will you be voting?
Yoot: No, I can't be arsed/I don't think it would make a difference
Politician: Grand, roll out thing.
Yoot: OMG I can't believe old people voted for thing :(

Whoever s in power always gets the nhs cant afford stuff thrown at them because the pharma companies charge wayyyyy much for a lot of their drugs.

And A&E are so over run right now and over the last few years cause of things the labour gov did to the doctors and the community caring system that hasnt been changed.

I would prefer to have pharma companies that are nationalised and worked across borders to produce medicines for the good of human kind rather than for their share holders. So that the research money could be written off as investment or some such but the multiple nationalities that are working together and the health care organisations would only have to pay manufacturing costs.

Wont happen tho.

And she talks about her time as a Home Secretary as if she did a good job.
