She isn't afraid of Corbyn, she is afraid of herself...or at least she has been advised to be afraid of herself.

If Labour had anything approaching a credible manifesto or credible candidates then the election would be in the bag for them.

It just so happens that least shit this time round is actually a complete nightmare, rather than just a set of arseholes.

Not surprised tbh, as many sources are saying atm Theresa May basically comes off as a robot just repeating the same shit over and over again with absolutely no emotion, people just don't feel she's being genuine - her not showing up for this debate won't help ratings either, because it'll come across as her just not being arsed to some people whereas others will see it as weakness.

The thing is, being a people person or not should not change the way people vote. It should be overall party policy and local candidate (how they vote etc) that makes people decide who to vote for.

We are essentially stuck with a choice of evil cunts and incompetent cunts, which is why I just cannot bring myself to vote for either party, I am considering Lib Dems simply because the local candidate seems to be a pretty decent chap but will likely spoil my ballot when it comes to it.

Personally I think TV debates are a utter waste of time.

IMO neither of them are actually that genuine, then again most MPs aren't and even if they are it always comes across as if they aren't.

Oh, I believe Corbyn is genuine, the main issue is he's been absolutely brutalised by the media - when he says he's for the many and not the few, I believe it.

Obviously, there are porky pies in there, there always is from every single party without exception.

I would probably believe he was more genuine if I was a Union member and believed in fairy economics.

I may think they are worthless but I'm not sure it would do her much good to go on a debate show as she is likely to become the main target, so it depends which one you think is more damaging. I also remember reading in a few places that JC wasn't originally going to go on it either.

Tim Farron had me laughing just now with his opening statement

"Where's Theresa May tonight? have a look out of your window, shes probably eyeing up your house to pay for your social care."

LOL

She already is, she's just fucking hung herself, she said something along the lines of "The Conservative party really care about the Vulnerable of this country." the entire room pretty much sighed together while shaking their heads.

I was 100% certain i would vote conservative once the snap election was called, but slowly but surely over the weeks the most probable thing i'll do now is either not vote, or just throw it(random candidate, like independent or something) Reasons?

Lib Dem: just straight out not my thing

Labour: Their manifesto looks great on paper to be fair, too good in fact. And you know what they say about things that look too good. At least without bankrupting the country. And there are a few things a cant trust Jeremy on, defence. The enemy would literately have to banging on the door of #10 before he would concede his path of talking before action had failed. And secondly i just have visions of him turning up to the EU talks wearing his PJ's, night cap included, slippers and a pack of early Gray, We'd end up leaving the EU where by the time he'd finished we might aswel of stayed but now just without the perks.

Conservative: From looking at the main points in that manifesto, why would i vote for that? There's nothing positive or something too look forward to in the whole thing. The whole campaign trail is just build around "getting the best deal".... ok so what after then? And if i hear that woman mutter those fucking words again( you know the ones) i'll end up going crazy. Final straw has been today now shes ducked out of the debate.

Going to have some weird dreams tonight involving Tim Farren saying "Let me finish" over and over again with that hand puppet face of his.

Had cheese.

that's going to come back to bite Amber Rudd

Amber Rudd: Jeremy, you're very good at defending terrorists

as opposed to having one in your party?

Maria Gatland - Wikipedia

One such quote from Maria Gatland - "I agree with the shooting of British soldiers, the more who are shot the better."

Technically no party has affordable plans, it is just the scale of how unaffordable each parties plans are not that most people care about that when they are being promised unaffordable pensions, etc.

SO is it interesting watching or just more comedy?

Some of its interesting, other bits are just... you want to reach through the TV and punch them basically.

If all plans are un-affordable then surely its a case of quality of life as we sink? Everyone has a nicer time apart from the 5% or the 5% have a nicer time and the rest slide into poverty, that seems to be the choice
