Er Scouse you're wrong.

They're overpriced, underspecced toy computers with a totally illogical operating system.

Please don't talk them up.

You have to admit though, that Macs are aesthetically very pleasing, especially when compared to a typical PC.

My PC is under a desk and I use it to play games, what the fuck would I want to stare at it for?

That's fine for you, however for many people such considerations are important.

Sad days when form wins out over functionality.

We use Macs at my college for the Art/Media students and PCs for everyone else (Corporate & Academia). We came *this* close to having Macs all over until someone pointed out both the price and that they aren't suitable for the apps we deploy, all because the VP thought they were pretty. We did end up, however, compromising with some all in one pcs that were twice the price of the ones we'd normally buy, despite them being the exact same spec and are currently looking at dual booting macs to windows :(.

Funny really, the institution's 95% pc based yet in the adverts all you see are Macs, who knew.

Picked up Supreme Commander 2 at Game today for a tenner. Only available in store though, and it might just be the Nottingham branch, not sure, having no access to any other branches. Worth a look in your local if you're after it though.

Actually you can tinker with the settings to make it very playable indeed. I did and ended up playing through about 2.5 times. Generally you need to disable VSync in the game, force enable it in the drivers and it works much better. Jolly good game indeed.
