I'm tempted. Is it any good because it's got seriously mixed reactions.

PS: Ghostbusters was well worth it, not a great game (very point and click) but the scripting is so funny.

Meh, I'll stick with Ghostbusters and both Max Payne games then.

this would be the Op Flash that codemasters have abandoned about 3 months after release, and are never patching again or even supporting ?

must be good ;)

Loved Bioshock 2, a few people said it wasn't that good so I resisted buying it when it was new but very pleased with it at £7.50 or whatever it was.

Don't equate buying again to not played yet...There are some classics on there at the moment, I would rather pay £3 than go rummaging through boxes to find the original CDs, actually I think I may have had commandos on the PS1.

Demo of APB really didn't hold my interest tbh. Too laggy, cars didn't control smoothly. That said the "pay as you go" time/credit thing I think is quite sensible rather than the standard £120 a year.

Or you can just use Vent.

That doesn't detract from the fact that the game itself is still pony though. It won't be around in 6 months time.

exactly, which is what i do, so the ads is a non issue

i really dont see the prob of a small charge/infrequent advert to use voip in game - and its not team things, its from your toon, which i find annoying tbh, but if you stand in social, people can actually just stand around -chatting-

If you don't react in an over-the-top manner to encroaching advertising in any medium then you shoot yourself in the foot.

Or do we not think that heavy resistance to the smallest of things makes advertisers aware that they could do brands damage by turning up where they're unwelcome?

I can't get in to it to save my life but I'm told by someone who likes it that it's absolutely ace. Very difficult to play, supposed to be very realistic so no gung-ho tactics but yeah, not for me. As far as I recall, by the folks that did Killing Floor,

Though it's 5p cheaper at retail and registers on Steam anyway so don't feel compelled to order today, it's not that special a deal.

Yes but that involves either waiting for it to be delivered or having to go into a shop (I feel dirty even saying the word!)

Good point, but too late; bought it already :)

Though at the speed the download's going I could probably have got it sooner through the post.
