On Albion I had some great fights with Energy Vortex, but when we ran our caster groups (Cabalist/Cabalist/Minstrel/Sorc) they were not difficult to kill, although at the time they put up the best fights against us.

Where did you get the impression that I had not played Thidranki until recently? You can still see my Bonedancer's grave next to Blokkie's in Aegir where I had to suicide before /xp off.

Solo, unless I was lucky to get a jump and finish off your pet with some lucky crits then you would make mince meant 9/10 that is a given, but then as a pre-love VW there wasn't much else that could be done.

Though I do note one thing, that how do you know that you killed me, as neither my BM or VW had anything resembling Everz in there names? .

Thid groups are fun, and with half a brain you can dominate zergs in there. Now do remember I was never part of EV or any of the sub guilds that went alongside it, I just used to pug with them whenever I'd drop into thid when 50 rvr wasn't cutting it for me.

I don't remember that particular incident. Energy Vortex could be a problem, but I am afraid that, be it as a PuG and guild group, they just were not as competitive when we ran Bonedancer/Bonedancer/Bonedancer/Skald or Albion caster group (with my Cabalist nearsighting everything).

Dyvet, maybe. Ywain, definitely. German servers, no. I really don't think people give it enough credit. Yes, people have experience of Thidranki here, but no one has experienced how tough it is on the German servers. Some of the guild groups out there are insanely good. And that is why I take pride in my /titles on the German servers more than I take pride in my titles attained on Dyvet.

Even the german servers were like this when I played, my half arse Wizard amassed a decent amount of kills even though it was never out rubbish gear.

Nothing could touch that setup though, same here as it was then, running that setup and claiming you were good just didn't work, it wasn't the players but the setup that made that what it was. Nothing could touch a pre-nf bd, and the same now, that group would rule.

I agree, but there are also a lot of templated players. And these are not bad players either, these are players with high realm rank main characters who just enjoy a bit of time off level 50 RvR every once in a while.

It wasn't until 17,000 kills that I got a proper template on my Eldritch =). Before I was in mostly aurulite.

I do regret claiming that I was amazing whilst running that setup. The fact of the matter is that I had already proved myself on my Cabalist, and I simply did not understand the hate I was getting from the community (although I understand it now).

I don't care about what people said about my Bonedancer groups. It was lame, I get it and I agree.

What upsets me the most is when people don't at least appreciate that I take pride in my /titles and I have every right to do so. I get zerged, just like your level 50s, I spend ages making a template, just like your level 50s, getting kills takes up a lot of time, just like your level 50s chars and I have fun with my friends, just like your level 50s. So what problem do people have with the fact that I persevere and am proud of what I have achieved? I honestly don't care if people call me sad, because my /titles fill me with great happiness, but in the end what is the difference? Just like RR10+, it's all just in a game, so I don't see why my achievements should be of any less value than other people's?

People associate me with Thidranki and my Thidranki titles. That is the root of all my problems on FreddysHouse. I am not that one to iniate the mentioning of my titles. Often, as has happened on my most recent stint on FreddysHouse, I post a perfectly sensible post in a thread (that has nothing to do with my titles) and then someone, such as Raven, will troll me (because of past feuds, or because I said something to upset them in the past) and say something like 'fuck off Dori, go wank over your /titles'.

At this point, I feel compelled to defend myself, and explain why I take pride in my /titles, and then people complain that I go on about them all the time. It is other people who bring these things up when they troll me in threads and ask sarcastic things like 'owned any level 20s today Dori?' or 'how's the King of Thid?'.

The rather humorous thing now is that everyone is at war with me, but it has been so for such a long time that no one can quite remember why. It is just normal for people on FreddysHouse to insult and troll me, regardless of whether I have had confrontations with them in the past. People like Blackjack, whom noblok mentioned, flamed and threatened me for no reason.
