This I agree with. I hate tube trains. Especially in the summer. Desperately needs air con. And don't forget the RMT strikes. 6 days planned in May & June. What would life be without Bob Crow?

Thing is TFL really cant back down now, they need to keep letting them strike cause eventually people are gonna turn on Bob Crow. Londoners are already used to the strikes and know how to get around other ways, we (i work for the buses) put on extra buses during the strikes. The Ferries get a massive boost too

Summer, Northern Line at 9am or 6pm is fucking hell on earth, winters just as bad. It's cold outside and you are wearing a jumper you get inside the tube, it's a sauna. so you either sweat to death or take all your clothes off. I use to have to get the Met from Zone 4, that was colder inside the train than outside during winter, it's about 50 year old trains.

And the funny thing is, in Asia not only are the trains epic but they are much taller. The majority of tube trains are so fucking short, it's uncomfortable if you are above 6.2 (im 6.4)

You need to look at the age of the network, air con wasn't around when it was built. Also the depth of most sections of the network makes air con far too expensive, any cost would only be passed on in ticket prices, and no one would accept that.

Theres nothing that can be done though about the height. When they first dug the tunnels they dug them too small
