I would not bring up american cars either, from what i seen from you yanks is that you like to shit on your own cars for various reasons and go out and buy a Toyota, so if you bring up cars, another american is likely to shoot you down.

While the Germans and even the Brit make decent high-end cars, the bang-for-buck aspect completely escapes you. I think it comes from being a class-based society in which ridiculously high-priced vehicles are a status symbol...

Ferrari puts together a billion dollar team of rocket scientists and they build a five-hundred thousand dollar barely legal "production" car that can beat a Viper around the ring. I say bravo but lets see you do it with a vehicle that comes off an assebly line (rather than out of a laboratory) for less than a hundred thousand dollars. The ZR1 goes around corners just fine, thank you very much and will kick the ass off ANYTHING euro-tard manufacturers can shit out for nearly twice the price.

Thought i'd give the thread a chance and read the last page or two. It still seems a typical troll/flamebaiting heaven which holds little interest, so with that in mind I wont be getting any further involved.

I was going to say stick around as some of your posts have been quite interesting to read but I have to say, here in Britain we do not have to try and prove that we are the best, we are not. What we have done is over our historic past is changed the way the world is today. Britain has made such an impact on everyone's life. You harp on about inventions in a previous post, if it were not for the British industrial revolution (amongst things) you would still be riding around on horses shooting the native American Indians (who by the way are more American than you!)

Yes, we suck at stuff and so do you, we created and abolished slavery, shit I know, but we also built the biggest empire that this planet will ever know. We don't hang from our windows our willys or put a flag outside of our house (because we know from our education what country we live in).

Personally I take silent pride in knowing what this country has done for the world as a whole and I like that fact that the British Passport (and our accent) is still the one to beat when visiting countries around the world. We are loved everywhere, unlike you.
