We are all mad. Arguing over a video game that died a death more or less 3-4 years ago. I must admit I only argue cos I like to wind people up. Trying to extract the last remnants of fun out of the game and this forum. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeezing the last drop out of em. I managed to get a few drops with my last reply too. Hey m8, being unique ain't something to be ashamed of. You are a bit creepy though that is for sure. Never show weakness though m8. You can still develop and become more 'with it' without crawling on your hands and knees. Life experience is what you are lacking and that will come whether you want it or not. Keep a strong resolve though and show your backbone at all times. The real 'King' is again showing his followers the 'path to enlightenment'. Hey you know it makes sense!

Thanks for the encouragement mate. I remember the first time I talked to you, we had quite a nice conversation and I saw that not only you are a great player but a good person as well. I can understand why you take pride in your characters and I am sure you are aware of this, DAoC was a special experience for me and I don't believe it makes me clueless just to look back with fond memories - that is my opinion anyway .

I'm going to be honest with you mate, sometimes it's best just to let things go. This isn't an attack on you, I am basing this advice on my own experiences. It is no use preaching about being excellent in a game etc. because often people won't want to hear it. Whether it is true or not, it is best to keep your achievements to yourself, like I am doing now . Don't seek recognition from anyone else and don't let people belittle your achievements, if it matters to you then everything else is irrelevent. It saddened me when others did not appriciate what I perceived to be great achievements but I cam to the realisation that others may have different opinions to me, therefore I'm not being honest to myself accentuating my achievements and pretending others care.

Personally, I understand and appriciate your achievements, but if people do not agree with you or me, then it is best just to back off a bit .

I have many titles - King of Posting Crap, King of Thid, King of Poem Writing and a few other lesser titles. Took years of dedicated Forum activity to get all these titles but they are all well deserved. I also have one for posting whilst drunk - King of Posting Crap Whilst Drunk but I am trying to get rid of that one. You can have it if you want. Just get hammered and make a right arse of yourself on these forums for a few nights. Up for grabs that title is.

Oh you are so very wrong there m8. My life has been about goals. My goal now is to become possibly a world record holder in running. Eh? Well the man that holds the world record for 5k and 10k in the 55-60 age bracket lives less than 10 miles from me - Martin Rees. He ran the Manchester 10k a few weeks back and went through 5k in a WORLD RECORD TIME and finished the race in a time of 32:17- another WORLD RECORD! I was running such times in my lower 40s. My body is incredibly strong even now though and capable of a massive amount of training. Could I maybe beat his times? Why not? It is the ultimate challenge as far as I am concerned. To become a WORLD RECORD HOLDER! I won lots of races and my name is engraved on a number of very big trophies. Haven't raced for maybe 12 yrs but I can still handle the same training - even more infact. You think I have only devoted my life to playing Daoc? Hell I am 52 yrs old, what do you think I have been doing before? Stagnating? I ain't one for standing still m8. My goal now is fitness and I am focussing on it. Hopefully I will show some promise with my racing very soon. I am pretty sure I will.
