Assuming you mean the real templars and not my old guild... yes! Well.. we weren't "holy" either, but pretty good at least! Oh and the real templars were pretty good bankers too!

Latin isn't THE old world by the way, just part of it, and i doubt conans world was heavily influeced by it(from what i've seen), but the House Harkonnen style is rather fetching.

House also refers to family, closer, smaller group of people, sometimes with no agenda, just to be.

We could come up with a name, Freddy style, that is more "royal", add house to it, then we could easily implement it as our "founding father"(aka long dead), the prime lord and one who made our guild with Lord Deebs and such

Apparently, in Howards world every western hyboria kingdom has a match in old europe, Hyborians being the race heir to the Atlanteans in their wide range of subraces, note the similarities and conections between some names:

Aquilonia is France.
Brythunia is well Britain (duh! )
Argos and Corinthia is Greece
Asgard is Sweeden/Denmark/Norway etc... (Asgard like in nordic mythology)
Cimmeria are the celts (in its wide atlantic variety: britain/ireland; north of france and north of spain, etc..)
Shem is Israel
Pictish are the Scotts (the picts from the north i guess, im not too fond of english history)
Hyperborea being the eslavians (Russia, Baltic nations etc...)
Nemedia is Germany
Zingara might be something like Spain/Portugal/Italy mixed (in beta the zingarian NPCs are always traders/navigators)

and some other i cant recall. I have Howards books sumwhere in a library might go and check

Might be, one cannot fathom into Howards mind, which seemed to be very weird and sometimes in the edge of racism (his fixation with Hyboreans and such) from my pov.

I liked House Frederick, it sounds special and I like the Dune-ish / A song of ice and fire theme of it. Or maybe some other House ... version ? It might fit RP-wise with Aquilonia, being a saintly or corrupt noble house.
