Some of the nicest players I've met in this game are women actually. Dunno why, they just seem to stand out more than the rest. We got at least 4 of'em in Nazgul, and they're damn dedicated players all of them

Would be really cool if there were 50-50 men and women (like RL) though

Btw I've got a female char, but only cause I was gonna make the name a pun but it was taken so I took another one that only dutch people get for some reason

There's loads of females playing DAoC... they mostly know all of them or quite alot anyways... And those who are close friends or guildies/as know who they are too.

We used to have about 6-7 females in lod... and hmm a shemale i believe..
But now it's down to about 2 active ones but still 4-5 in guild

And characterwise in general of all females... there's only 1 word... female

We have 3 hard core women in TDS, myself, Shree and Gala. We have a few others, part time players, and I tell ya, having women in a guild makes a difference. When TDS first started, I was the only woman in the guild forever, but since I curse like a guy, I didn't get any special treatement. I started the game by following the guys from LoM, my husband tried the game out in beta but gave up after a week. (He prefers fps and doesn't have time to "deal with that leveling crap")

I will admit that playing a male char has its benefits too. I can go around, playing Choppy and its great. People ask for stuff and I say no, and they don't ask again. I can even tell someone to "piss off" and they laugh. LOL

And while I don't think I am on a power trip, I will admit that I am a bit of a Bitch godess from time to time. BUT I'm also very caring and nurturing, so it balances out.

Most guys i see walk ingame look like clowns. And most green lime and bright pink dyed chars i met were male (who at GOA invented them anyway, they should have given some sunglasses with those dyes).

As for falling into a category, i guess i fall in each of them from time to time. Sometimes i just like to "be one of the guys" as for language and talks and sometimes i can whine and go nuts on stupid stuff like a woman lol.

I play a mix of male and female characters depending on what I think looks cool and no other reason really. Of my 50s 2 were male and 4 were female. Male Luris look pants and I like Luris so female characters it is for those.

I'm male irl however scores on the doors like this:

3 times chatted up by males when playing a female character
1 time chatted up by a male when playing a male character *cough*
1 time chatted up by a female while playing a female character (she knew I was male irl)

So as a singles club bit of a non-starter in all honesty

Been fun. I try not to think to think about who's behind the keyboard but tend to get on with playing to be fair
