Well, this agreement was made to help all guilds get cheap lots, and be able to make "villages" with your guild. And to avoid a flamewar. They dont have to follow the rules, but to do so, is for the best for everyone, and the nice thing to do imo.

Right you are! I must admit i hated this when i first heard about it. Looked like the most 1337 guilds wanted to calim the best spots but after further investigation it seems fair. Still - some ppl are speaking about it like it is law and everyone HAS to follow it which is kinda lame imho

no they dont have to follow the housing plan that they didnt agree too, BUT imho (this has nothing to do with me being in LA) _IF_ they knew this land was saved for someone, its only right that you leave it alone, part of the agreement or not. if they dont read the hibernia section of BW, then o well, shit happens.

Baaaaaad choice of an example in here. If ppl go on a raid they agree on the rules made by the raid leaders. So yes, its not ok to nick any drops then.

Did everyone in the realm of hibernia say yes to the housing agreement? I doubt it so you cannot say they broke it when they never agreed(even if they knew about it).

I think it's kinda stupid and smallminded to assume they broke this agreement (which they weren't even a part of) on purpose.

Try talking to them ingame before accusing them of something you are not sure of. If they respond saying "hahaha... we gotcha blablabla".. draw your own conclusions and come here to whine. If they didnt do it on purpose try negotiating with them or find another piece of land to put your house on.

You know upfront this agreement wasn't between all guilds and if the land meant that much to you you should have bought it sooner.

Even though i think it would be lame if they did it on purpose just to annoy your guild i still say ask them before u accuse.

The thread wasn't about claiming, it was about courtesy, you cannot tell people what to do. But if you tell other people what you are planning to do they can take it into account and that is all you can expect really.

No-one has the right to claim anything over another person in this game for we all play by the same rules and no-one is special in any way. The lvl 1 just starting playing has equal rights to a certain housing spot as the uber leet rr10l10 full galla/SC equiped with 8 lvl 50s.

So don't flame anyone for taking 'your' spot because it just makes you look stupid.

imo your wrong, no 1 agrees to anything when they go on a raid. they just go by the rules so people trust them in future, if you was to say ..
"i didnt have cg on when he told us about not stealing drops, so imo, i can take it." - it wouldnt be much different.

i'm not saying what they have done is right but has anyone contacted them and asked them why ?...did you know about the agreement?

until this is found out nothing should be said about the matter


if i was a LA member i'd ask/get my gm to ask there gm problem solved or at least found out why it had been done

This guild village thing is a great idea, but all guilds, specialy those with a good view or location must be prepared to have 2-3 houses that isnt from guild in the village.

Agreed. Not all guilds were in the cg and if their name is not on the agreement they have no obligation to respect something they didn't sign in for. They had the cash, they bought it. End of story.
