As I hope quite a few people will give me a bit of credit for, my mind is open and i'm prepared to change it - there are stealthers I have a lot of respect for, there are stealthers like yourself who are just playing to have fun and have a laugh and pile into any fight - thats ok with me too within the context of this game - I understand it, just dont expect me to love you for it.


Feel free to post or pm me the stealther code you wish me to fight for, the corner you want me to defend, the mighty, great and lengthy tome that is the stealther manifesto. And though that is tongue in cheek - if you feel im doing you a diservice, and ive made inaccurate or untruthful posts, then point them out as part of the thread - thats what the forum is for ... isnt it?

forgot to add, though im a mod, i'm still allowed to have an opinion - this doesnt magically change. What you will find however is that I wont under any circumstance abuse that position to modify, delete or otherwise affect posts that are made using those mod powers to influence a thread direction to suit my own posts and pov. Dont get things mixed up. Having an opinion and arguing for that, is quite seperate from being a moderator, as it should be.

reading between the lines accross a few posts made by yourself of late, I get the impression (note.. underline impression) that you have no time or respect for any stealther and prefer your full group playstyle, as for your comment on my playstyle of piling into any fight (that is an example of an inaccurate and untruthful post btw), we dont add on fights currently in progress but have of late decided to add on fgvfg fights and are currently working on increasing our numbers to make this more effective btw (mostly in thanks for spoiling our fun), just for the record we are not just gonna sit and be farmed over and over again just so we might gain enough respect for your full groups to stop rolling over us on every fight we have, we will fight fire with fire, it will be your groups asking us to stop killing you by the time we have finished

duo-trio scouts are MoFo and 2-3 casters (wp4 and mom4) hitting u for 600++ dmg are ok?

Thats a bit chicken and egg m8y. You been adding freely on fg fights and many people within those fg when they have been solo. That is the reason those people kill you - people who run 8 man groups dont play in this fg scene bubble divorced from the rest of the server (not these days anyhow). I'm afraid you have a very very very long history of piling in with your mate Aim (Tip and Aim is a byword for that sort of behaviour - im surprised its not in the DAOC Wiki). If you are now trying to turn that image round then you get my full support, but its hard to wipe a slate clean when there is so much blood on it.

Thats really why your post is funny, because it doesnt represent any change whatsoever from the status quo, so its really really hard to care. Also the other point is that nobody but other people with similiar reputations would want to join in that - those who already get respect, will want to maintain it - so all you're left with is those who already are on everyones kos list - like I said business as usual. <shrug>

Re first bit - almost all of my play is solo, got an NFD fg back together running on mondays. I have respect for stealthers, but recently multiple times ive left them, and theyve turned around and added 10 mins later. Doesnt affect how I approach names I dont recognise though. I surrender emote and leave them to it if they are fighting. If they add on me later, then thats the end of that. I tell you, there arnt many who havent gone on to ruin my fights after ive left them on more than one occasion. But I believe in letting people complete fights (barring the odd fick up on my part) and that includes stealthers, I just expect the same in return. Prob is that the majority of stealthers only honour other solo stealther/tank fights (if anything) - i'll screenshot every fight I leave next time - and you do the same thing - put your money where your mouth is, balls on the block.

There are people on this server that do play fairly and we always return the favour to them, you and your guild are not one of these people so go figure.

Yeh quite franky i feel like giving up after today. Being chain zerged by 6+ scouts, then for them to bring their BB's out to strip you at the slight chance you might win and them the go inside.

Just getting boring quite frankly. Would be nice if we could set up irvr other than hib as it pwns all the soloers who used to go there. Make it in hadrians it's much better and you can actuaslly find people roaming, unlike emain/briefine. Plus people can go back to DC bridge and get decent solo fights for a change.
