If you can remember your email (and its still active) just go to the "forgotten PW" bit on the goa site, somewhere on the subscription thingy. All you do is enter the email address, it will email you a new subs PW, along with your user name, once you have reset that you can reset game PW.

Only got 1 of my 3 accounts back but its the one with my main (hero) on so very happy.

think i only ever got as high as RR5.4 and its been that long since i played those chars i wouldnt have a clue plus id like to roll a mid never played it

how do you get the game to play in the US? and how you go about payin ya subs? can you get the eu game and just change the ports etc?

how long to lvl 50 assumin you dont know anyone on the server dont want to take ages to lvl to 50 2-3 weeks tops with avg 4-5hours a day.

how much for all the expansions n stuff now?

Just start an account from Mythics homepage, no limitations for your address.
Payment is by Credit Card.

Getting to 50 is easy enough. Everything else is a pain.

Gear: expensive
CLs: the quests are tough as hell to do on your own with the Laby being zerged all day long.
MLs: didn't see a raid on Mid, everyone's buying them with BPs
RPs: there's a hib behind every tree, and an alb under every piece of grass.

on the positive side of things, last time I played, Mids were pretty much raiding Albs quite succesfully for relics

You can download it from here Mythic Entertainment | Dark Age of Camelot - Play the 14-Day Free Trial! Or, you can patch your EU client to the US client by changing your update.dat file, I can't remember what to though.

It doesn't take long at all to level, 1 to 2 weeks easy. Gear is easy and cheap now, dragon loot can be bought with scales (similar to DF seals) which are farmed in the dragon zones, you can also get some nice items by trading in bounty points. MLs can either be done with a single group or again bought with bounty points, likewise ML credit/scrolls can also be bought with bounty points. CLs are just a case of grinding the exp or doing it in PvP (much faster) doesn't take long at all. The quests are a waste of time really, unless you want to do them for the cash/fun.

You have to use a VISA (VISA debit is fine) or a mastercard, you don't need a US address.

Then reality hit home, the friends I enjoyed daoc with have moved on, the game doesnt even feel the same as it once was. i've moved on in life way to busy these days to harbour an MMO-addiction. Shame this is far far to late in the day to be enjoyed and my accounts go to waste.

I remember about writing something a long time ago, about beeing willing to give up me left ball for daoc to revive, and for the old people to be playing again.

cant help but think this is about 8 years too late

as for char transfers be nice but to me that seems like a nightmare to do mythic will want to make sure the player base will want to migrate first

be nice if it breathes life into daoc again it amazes me that in a market flooded with mmo's ppl still regard daoc as the best one of them all

Possibly would`ve been if something else better had comeout to replace it but nothing has.

alot are no competition u need several Us stealthers just to get ur lust satisfied But there are those chosen few that are hard to battle
Infil was kinda fun at start but alot of people got pissed off after purgeing stun then 2hand(staff for those that are slow and gonna say inf cant 2hand) mezz poisen restealth and Perf again suddently they started ganking and rofling i suspect zeh horner xD


But Sb is alot harder to recover from when u have purged stun and 2hand mezz and 2 hand perf again

Your biggest problem will be getting the 'nice gear'
Nighthade SI vest is very very rare and expensive, and campaign only/char bound stuff like medal of honour, doppel bracers and bunny pants.

But a luri with slash resistant armour running two tark rings will make most folks cry.
