This game hasnt really been delayed or that much or in development for a long time. Back when I was offered the job of Test Manager for Warhammer Online when Climax were developing it, the game was in a very different focus to what it is now. Effectively Mythic re-designed the game from scratch and its only been in development by them for what 2 or 2.5 years, for a good mmorpg thats pretty quick.
I appreciate we all want to get into the beta and help test this, but GOA have to be able to get good results off that user testing for Europe and that is not an easy job for their beta test people to do. As the game is still some way off from being released I would think you are very likely over the next few months to be allowed in to test it
