Gustav, the modlist above is from the raid before the one today so once the new modlist is up you should have +6.

With reagrds to the unfortunate calculation error it must ultimately be up to each and every raid participant to keep their track of their own modfied score. Also when Thundering leads in my place his word is what goes for that particular raid so there will be a +25 bonus added to Dharkens modifier.

However please note that this is a one time exception and there will be no more of them in the future - so keep track of the mods and please do double check on the raidleaders announcement since we're human too afterall.

After going thrugh the chat.log and the modlist more thurogh I find that I made a huge mistake and I am realy sorry for this.

The winner of Erinys Charm was not May but Dharken.
May roled 94 (not 98 as some claimed) + 18 = 112
Dharken roled 99 + 15 = 114

I do not know if May have activated the charm or not. I will recomend to Thorild that Dharken is given a + 4 mod for this raid and a + 25 mod for my mistake.

Again I am truly sorry for what have happend and hope that Dharken can find a way to forgive me. With a mod of 44 for next raid (if Thorild agree to +25) Dharken stand a good chans to get it then.

I'd love to give the next charm to Dharken but I think that not manny people will show up if they don't have a chans to win it. The only thing for me to make this worse is if I win the charm next time

Thundering the dumb strike again. Late for a bbq and to litle sleep this week make me just want to crawl under a rock right now and stay there for the rest of the year. Yes you are so right and I am so wrong and Thorild better stay at home on the raids for I'm a shitty repacment. I should have just ignored the chat.log and gone to the damn bbq and looked it over today after 8h of sleep. May was inded the winner and I made a mistake in thinking I made a mistake. If anny one want me to poste the chat.log here I'll gladly do it. Who knows I might be making a mistake in thinking that I was making a mistake over that mistake I didn't make.

Thorild have the chat.log our officer forum so he can see for him self who the winner is and so on. I'll just stick to Mjolnir and boddy pull the named on the raid from now on and leave the raid to the one's that don't make so manny mistakes like I do.

For this raid there was a bit of confusion resulting from similar names (May <> Maj) and pretty similar rolls (98 <> 94), however upon a second review it turns out that the winner was the correct winner no matter how you count it Reportedy Geido was LD at the roll-call, PM me with info on your class and alt-names for credit.

A big thanks to Thundering who stood in for me on this last raid!! Great job and it all turned out for the best in the end.

BTW, regarding tomorrows raid I just found out that I have an IRL engagement earlier on that evening so most likely Thundering will be filling in for me, atleast for the beginning parts.

Okay a few things: First of all another big thanks to Thundering for helping me out and leading the raid since I was once again unable to make it there on time.

Due to the short time between the raid and the ML9 raid all loot except the charm was held over, it will be lotto:ed as usual on saturday together with the rest of the stuff.

We're now in the month of September which means that from now on all raids will give a flat +3 modifier no matter what class you show up with. However I do want you all to realise that the more tanks and healers we can field the better our chance of success.

Also in order to make things a bit easier to read I will split this thread into two parts in the near future, one for information on the raid and such stuff and then another thread that will contain the modlists only.

Appendix, good question - last time we had a tie we used modifier on the re-roll as well, however seeing that both peeps had the same mod it really didn't matter at that time. However to clarify all future re-rolls will use modfier as well. If someone feels this is a bad thing just put forth your arguments here, I try to be open for discussion with reagrds to my raid rules although I always reserve the right to make up my own mind

With regards to this saturday's raid I have had several people ask me if we could do Tartaros Gift as well. So if there are enuff people left after the Erinys lotto and Tartaros is up we will do it then. Another option that I may consider if there is a lot of people on the raid (like 40+ with several supp SMs) would be to simply zerg the High Priest on the way to the Erinys camps, the extra time required should be less than 5 minutes in that case...

The last raid went smoothly, we killed the Salamander (kinda accidentally) and High Priest Akil (not so accidentally) on the way over to the Siam-he camps. The time when Samut died was roughly 14:42 so a reasonably fast raid (I think the fastest so far was 32 minutes) - the lotto with all the extra stuff from last time plus the Tartaros and the sally stuff took 42 minutes total...

This was the first raid under the september modifier rules (all classes gets a +3 mod) and the new rules have helped a ton with reducing the time needed to update the modlist.

Since there is a ML10 raid on Tuesday we're gonna be having another turbo-raid(tm) so we'll head straight for the bosses, kill em and get Samut down, the charm will be lottoed right away and then we'll lotto the fixed drops from Samut and any nice scrolls if time permits - any loot not lottoed by 19:50 will be carried over for lotto on the next raid.

Oh yeah, almost forgot... I rolled my best roll ever on a FFA raid with a 100

Another smooth raid, Samut died at around 19:39 CET so among the fastest ones as well, especially considering that groupbuilding took roughly 13 minutes out of that. The lotto, as usual, took a while... Since the ML10 was a bit delayed (took a while to find the portal) all the loot was offered up for lotto so nothing is carried over to the next raid.

This was the second raid under the september modifier rules (all classes gets a +3 mod).

Since there are plans for a ML10 FFA on tuesdays we're gonna keep doing really fast raids there so peeps can do both - however I am considering weather we should include the Salamander, the Scalars mob and the Tartaros Gift on the schedule for the saturday raids. I am well aware that all these encounters can be made with 1fg (a good one for tartaros) or less however last time we did sally+tartaros the time added to the raid was less than 10 minutes... So what do you raid-goers think? Is it worth the extra time consumption or shall we go for optimal time performance rather than "bonus loot"?

Its well out of order changing the rules especially for the worse, means we can all just bring gimp classes likes thanes etc...
