I wonder how this new Trump-Bojo style of politics will last.

I also wonder if she'd resign if Scotland left, who ever is in power at the time absolutely should.

I'm not the biggest fan of Truss (Badenoch would have been my choice personally) but tend to agree with her there, best thing to do with Sturgeon is ignore her.

Well it isn't, the best thing to do with Sturgeon would be to leave her alone on a desert island with food but no internet, but as we can't do that ignoring her seems the next best option.

Your second question seems mostly irrelevant given a) they won't be granted another referendum anytime soon, and b) the Scots seem even less keen on Independence than the last time they were asked.

English PM ignoring the Scots' democratically-elected leader seems like a really good way of uniting the home nations.

It's almost like the Tories want to get rid of some troublesome non-Tory vote.

Union be damned.

Given her distaste for the results of democratic exercises - such as say, referendums - and the anti-English sentiment her and her merry band of grievance monkeys specialise in my sympathy for the poison dwarf's complaints is limited.

Anyway there's an easy way for the Scots to get the independence that a loud minority of the population want so badly - let the entire UK have a vote on it.

It's not about what she thinks about it. It's the message to Scottish voters.

She is a mouthy waste of time, who represents a hive of idiocy, but she has a mandate.

A large portion of them are fed up of her shite as well tbh.

To call Sturgeon an attention seeker after dressing up as Thatcher and sitting on tanks having publicity pictures taken is a bit rich. Not to mention wearing a massive fur hat in the middle of the Russian summer to cosplay Thatcher.

Truss is a fucking idiot.

She's clearly just doing whatever she can to get the big chair. She was a lib dem. Then Tory. Then remainer. Then leaver. And she was the first minister to support Boris Johnson's bid for PM.

She'll have her time in no.10, make a fucking mess of it, and swan off to some big chair in Shell or someother company to earn megabucks.

According to the Daily Mail she is Christ in a skirt, ready to carry on Boris' golden legacy!

/edit: Which is odd because when you see her speaking on telly, and when I spoke to her, she is a pudding-brained, awkward oddball.

Every Tory hopeful has been Christ-like according to the Mail. May was the new iron lady, then they shat on her.

Boris is the only PM leaving without a blemish on his record according to a story today in the Fail.

My mum bought the Mail, she was thick, then she had dementia. But every word it said was gospel to her. I take it people who buy it are incredibly thick. (I won't mention The Scum because.....obvs)

Storm in a teacup, but fuck it, drown the fuckers in trumped up allegations, daily, until they are out of office. Not that there is a lack of bullshit going on ofc, but nobody seems to care anyway.

People in poor deprived areas aren't taking part in the leadership vote so why should he care?

By time an election rolls around no one will remember
Oh they will fucking remember. Don't underestimate the anger in the country right now.

The problems these cunts have will seem tiny when the population reaches its anger limit. Around about mid October at a guess.

Most of them don't bother voting either, so who actually cares. *devil's advocate

I'd imagine 'deprived' areas means Labour voting areas, so it doesn't matter.

Im skeptical, the tides of shit governance, corruption, sleaze, and incompetence have kept coming since 2009 but tories keep winning elections

There's 200'000 dead people who have relatives. They'll remember. There will be businesses going bump left right and centre because of the unicorn of Brexit. There will be people freezing and starving with no help. All will remember.

I feel your pain, and the biggest issue is Starmer is a bit bland to the people who voted for the sack of ham that is Johnson.

He has already lost so I don't think it actually matters what he says.

We have Truss instead!

It’s just sad that his last ditch attempt to appeal to the Tory faithful is a race to the bottom on asylum seekers.

“I’ll take us out of the EHCR so that we can feed them to starving dogs.”
