Lots of places sell items below the suggested RRP, I'd be surprised if it was a criminal act.

the only thing to stop you would be making a loss - by all means tell themto shove it up their collective asshole.

I am definetly sure I shall be posting news for Freddyshouse again, but not until after I decorate the house next weekend. Ch3tan and his fine, original and trademarked translation skills may be required when this happens.

5p listing day tomorrow so I'm going to be getting rid of some of my old junk. Just wondering, I have some old PC133 SDRAM chips to sell but they've been in a box for about 2 years and I think they work but can't really remember, should I list them as "untested" or something? Don't have a machine here that supports them.

Hi guys

Spring cleaning time, so a very bizarre mix of stuff:

I also have a Dell desktop PC, Samsung 17" CRT monitor, and a shed load of legal textbooks should anyone be interested. I'm going for the minimal look ;)

Kind Regards

I have a ton of old textbooks too. Was considering flogging them on ebay but they only seem to sell for a few pounds which is a bit of a bitch when they cost me £30. How about setting up a Freddyshouse textbook exchange/auction.

Generally it's a good idea to sell them at your uni/college to previous years who will be using the same book. I think you can sell for a better price that way - it's something I need to do soon, but really can't be arsed :\

You can't set your reserve lower than 50. Just the way it is.

Doh_boy you need to edit your acution and remove your reserve price. Firstly no one is going to bid on a commonly available DVD which has a reserve on it, they can get it cheaper anyway, secondly most ebay users will know that £50 is the minimum reserve and will laugh at your auction. Thirdly and most importantly, ebay will make your auction a failure if it ends with bids but dosnt reach the reserve price. You will then be finishing you transaction outside of ebay -which leaves you open to all sorts of problems. Like AIDS.

Thanks a lot, didn't realise you could remove it, I thought it was some shite 'you're new' thing.

When you list something next time, if you dont want a reserve or buy it now or whatever, just leave that field blank.

I may be wrong, but I think you get charged for listing a reserved price too, making the listing price higher.
I find it easier just to start the auction at a reasonable price in the first place, although this initself brings fee's too. :(

Yeah you get charged 2% of the reserve fee, but this is refunded if the item sells.
