I don't like the icons at all... they look very messy.

It might work for casters, but... :(

Very confusing, and rather messy. Nice idea though - will probably grow on me.

I don't like them at all.

a) A bit too colorful for my taste, especially using "neon" colors.

b) All buffs are yellow/light green. Makes them a bit hard to distinguish. Example: As a Darkness-RM I usually cast dmg-add also on me to see when it runs out. It used to be a red icon (easy to notice if it is missing), now it is yellow as all the other stuff and I rather often miss when it's not there anymore.

We will eventually get used to the icons, but first impression is definitly negative.

I'm still getting used to them, for some reason this was the thing i looked forward to in the patch (after the new spells, weee mezz breaking gtae :p) And my quickbars were screwed up, with absolutely no idea what each spell was.

Wondered why my dd cap was 200 lower until i realised it was the bluddy aoe i was casting all along :p

I like them... for my caster.

I started sobbing trying to rearrange my Warden's quickbars. Everything is so... green. And the styles... holy cow - teh confusion!

We will get used to it soon... heck, the icons look alot more stylish now. Animul likes eye candy.

At first, I thought, "OMG! Explosion in a paint factory!" but yeah, I'm getting used to them and they're pretty cool I think. The rez sick face is pretty funny :D

the icons really are an improvement, at least for an infiltrator like myself, i don't know about the other classes. The previous attack icons all looked the same, most of them were simply 2 red swords. Now each attack is different

and rezz sickness icon, it looks like the head of terrence and philip from southpark :)

I think the icons are an improvement, but will take some getting used, to, Glad there is no friendly fire in the game though, as the number of times i tried to nuke allies and heal albs by mistake last night would have looked a little treacherous :)

Those new icons are completely horrible.
I feel soooooo not at home on my quickbar. Oh and it took 15 minutes to arrange my 5 quickbars after the patch messed them up. Thanx mythich! Oh and some of the instant icons are messed up, some look just like their castable counterparts and some look completely different. Why the **** did they have to do this to us? Do they think we just put all our spells on the quickbar randomly and go searching for a spell each time we wanna use it? Well i mean cause if we did it would maybe be a little bit helpful.

I quite like them too. I don't really look at them all that much when I'm playing my wiz, I've used the same quickbar layouts more or less for about 3 months, I know where everything is, I don't need to be able to tell from the icon. Different story all together on my inf tho, and it's nice that the icons for each move are fairly unique, before everything was pretty much the same. Of course, it takes a while to get used to, but over all I think it's an improvement

new ones will take while to get used to since everyone is used to the same icon for so long. combat wise they much better they show what sort of move it is and where the attack is based before you had line of 6 swords with no idea what each did unless you remembered what order you placed them, as for look i dont see any prob with them, they look perfectly ok to me, they are limited by the size of the icon and how much detail you can fit in, so a plain sword for example is going to maybe look neater than one trying to show what type of attack it is and where the attack is from. now you got colourful pretty icons ban the plain ones.

I am not adverse to bright colours but some of the designs on the icons are plain cryptic and they have confused some spell lines by giving them an almost identical look. Damn shame they never gave us the option to use the old icons but then that is Mythic all over for you :(

In the Prydwen/Midgard Forum is a thread about editing the new icons back into the old ones.

The old icons sucked, there was a lot of the icons that looked the same, and there was no way of just looking at them to see what lvl the dot/buff/debuff that you have is.

Now i just i have to have a quick look at them and i see what they mean.
