Been playing this for abit (currentyl lvl 9) and I must say they've done a fucking good job thus far with it out of all the mmo's released over the years hoping to be the next big thing for pvp I think this might have just done it.


5/5 for me this - totally stunning world and flawless gameplay so far.

you could probably compare the world atm to new frontiers from daoc x3-4 if you include all the cities its that big.

I cancelled my pre order after they started to radically change the roles in the pvp environment. Other than that I really enjoyed the movement and combinations when fighting.

better tbh you can change new items aquired ingame looks aswell basically any item you equip gets the looks stored so you can change the skins to stuff you like... apart from that the editor/character creation is good.

I think its very good indeed. My main problem thus far is I'm an old bugger and everything happens at 100mph. I'm also not a huge fan of games where you have to choose loadouts of your skills, much prefer to have all of them available.

Ran out of quests at lvl 22 :s can't get any higher due to monsters giving shit exp, anyone have the same problem?

Well, Total Biscuit seems to like it and from what i saw of the female character creation, i can transfer my Champions character there, so i guess i'll be hopping on the DC train soon enough.

Well, perhaps after move or some such.

Loving it so far not many mmo's have done it right over the years but i can safely say this one has not only done it right but its set the bar high for super hero style mmo's.


p.s any chance we can get a DC Universe section mods ?

What's the difference to Champions?

PVP is non-essential since i never got into it, so whatever it is in DCO, it's good enough.

Otherwise what i've seen is pretty darn close to Champions and if the trademark is the only real difference, why should i switch from something i know(and is soon free), to this?

And ofcourse; trial around?

its less clunky than champions was for a start just overall better gameplay if i'm honest.

A game that lets me play as the apprentice(ish) of Joker(not to mention Hamil old school cool joker!) can't be all bad

Nowhere near that level myself, Billy is about level 15 now and I started an alt who is 4. However people in chat were saying that the best thing to do at that level when you run out of quests is head to the centre of the map as there are higher level questgivers there.

Apparently some people have hit maximum level already so there must be some content for them.

Oh and Chodax the voice acting is excellent, some top stars and plenty of it too thus far. The game has certainly been put together very lovingly and is well presented.
